Since installing the quickfix, every second turn I play, the game freezes and I have to quit. Thus, I play 1 turn -> everything is ok -> I start a new turn (the 2nd) -> game freezes -> I quit -> I start the game again -> I play the 2nd turn -> everything is OK -> I start the 3rd turn -> game freezes...

Some generals have "CombatDeathChance = 100" as the last line in their model file, some don't (Trotsky doesn't). I'm not sure if it's connected, or what it is supposed to mean.

Is there a limit on the number of generals? I'm not sure I'm getting more Red generals even though I order one every turn. The MaxDate ( = latest date) for a general's appearance is set in Events/RUS F3 Options Leaders Reinforcements.sct . I edited mine to 1922 for everybody. May lead to more "doub...

I don't mean to be a nitpicker, but why not the other way around as well, i.e.
Southern Whites taking control of Siberian Whites?

I played the game after some good months as well... The option must have existed in the mind of the designers. They either decided:

a) it wasn't realistic

or, most likely

b) it would make things too easy for a White human vs. Red AI.

Regarding the latter point: it is unlikely it will be done, for two reasons: 1. Historically, the Southern Whites and Kolchak didn't communicate, so nothing like: Denykin1872: wassup KolchakAdmiralIAmSuper: sup Denykin1872: hey when r u attacking moscow? Denykin1872: ? KolchakAdmiralIAmSuper: 2morro...

-Not really understanding supply. For example, I am not sure where to build depots and how they supply my armies. I have figured out that armies without supply vehicles don't get supply if they are not located at a depot(right?). So for example, I launched a large attack at Riga only to have my arm...

Columns and army corps can be rename (ALT + left click on column name).

For army and division names, however, you must edit certain files.

As the Southern Whites, requesting a White general sometimes places him in "illegal regions" (such as Sevastopol in the Ice March scenario). That same turn, he is "destroyed because of lack of transport". Does this bug exist in other scenarios as well? BTW: this is a 1.02 a bug, I haven't even touch...

I don't usually double-post, but I think it's nice to have a chronology here as well: 1914 = WW1 begins. 1917, february = Anti-Czar revolution. Kerensky (a Social-Democrat) pretty much takes control. 1917, november = Bolshevik revolution/coup d'etat. Whites start fleeing south. 1918 (spring) = Non-B...

Southern Whites (which really equals Don Cossacks + anti Bolshevik officers and generals fleeing south): Kaledin, Krasnov = Occupied the position of leader of the Don Cossacks ( ataman ) in succesion. Kaledin died before June 1918, so you won't see him in the Grand Campaign scenario. Kornilov = Whit...

It helps to think geographically, because the radius of an army commander improves corps performance only around that commander (so if the army commander and his staff are in Chicago but the corps are in New York and Richmond, you're begging for a defeat). For instance, I usually play as the South. ...

I think these ideas are good, except for 1919 being a skirmish-year ("Your armies are locked for the following 26 turns" :) ). As far as I see it, the Polish-Soviet and the Finnish Civil War are additions to the game's core design idea, which was the Russian Civil War. A lot of time was spent on the...

Just checking in case this is your first AGEOD game, but are you sure you meet the conditions for forming a division? I.e. the commander is active, you haven't gone over your division limit, etc.
