Starting in July 1861, he served as chief of staff for General John C. Frémont. On September 26, 1861, he was promoted to brigadier general ...

Hi Marecone,

a question:

Magruder has a 'command' in the east (and a penalty), whilst Polk and Hardee both commands a corps (with no penalty).

Since you do not need an HQ to create a corps, is it simply because Polk and Hardee are 2 star generals, while Magruder is only 1?

Thx

I understand that generals enter as an event.

Will/can they also be removed like this (like Dieskau in BoA)? Also, I suppose they can die in a battle.

Thx

Another question: how did you manage to reinforce Harpers Ferry (in turn 4)after Jakson put it under siege (in turn 3)? Shouldn't there have been a battle of some kind in the course of this? Thx.

Dear Spharv2, Turn 2 - Further South, Butler failed to move at all, so I will let him continue to attempt to motivate himself to get back to safety. Could you specify that? Does that mean that Butler refused to move (although you ordered him to do so) or sg else? Thx in advance, András

French characters

Hello! Maybe I should post it in the French forum... I downloaded the game and started playing it with English. Then I changed the language to French, and certain characters are displayed oddly (e.g. á, é do not appear properly). My Windows is set to Hungarian, I changed it to French, but it did not...
