I have not filed every turn but I don't believe I have missed any diplomacy - though Brazilian diplomatic efforts were ignored by a few players.

Loki- a piece of housekeeping I'm sure you're aware of, but when you "Liberate" Scotland and Ireland, it's only the region with their capitals, not the whole country (at least it was for me back when I decided that they needed their freedom). And in the case of my current game, Ireland decided to r...

More RAM made a big difference, more so in game and screen load times than the clicking issue, but there is still a few seconds of reaction time/lag in F4 mainly before the change is processed. My tip is to do a long single click rather than the usual fractional-second click. For setting taxes, just...

Depending on the supply productivity of the regions they control, bottling up the British armies in around Natal-Zululand and cutting their supplies with naval blockade, encroachment and destruction of rails and other means of support is a useful strategy while you snap up the rest of South Africa. ...

World in Conflict is now coming to the end of its 6th game year (1885) and the other ongoing massive multiplayer PBEM Conflict in Europe Redux is in 1880 - both appear to have current or future openings for players, which can be discussed in their "General Discussion" threads in the PBEM forum. I am...

French glory does not come cheap. The indirect way to establish a client state in this game is to pummel them silly with high warscore, then make a peace that leaves much of that mass of warscore unused. This gives you a diplomatic asset - good relations with the country that can lead them to agree ...

Can Brazil colonize, btw.? Brazil has only Take Over Customs, 1 Merchant card, 1 non-functional Missionary card (i.e., nowhere was ever green) and Stake. Which makes it hard to figure out what to do with the colonial transfers unless back to 101CP non-national status, in which case there is Telecom...

As of myself, I am away 18th-26th August included and I would prefer not to carry my laptop with me.....

Many find Oman annoying in its imperviousness to diplomacy, yet in its favor we have seen no support for rebels or pirates and it has given no cause for complaint as a neighbor. Britain was co...

Are you working with 1.03e or beta 1.04?

For older version save games, see the Hosting Crash on AAR Game thread in this subforum. Try fixing the turn that crashes and then resorting to that the turn before.

If the DEFUID error comes up in a new game, I'd suggest trying the same procedure.
