Tell me where, when and how you spot these units, in order we can determine whether they are generated by the engine (autoraise) or by the setup :indien: Hi, I have renamed some regiments as ussdefiant has suggested and it seems to fix this issue. :bonk: So, if ussdefiant's description of the probl...

Yes, the off-map boxes were already included. Why? Hi Korrigan, Once in a while I think about subtracting them from the game. So I was wondering if a Map version existed without these boxes. If so, there would be Region graphics without the OMB movement instructions on them (ala "From Great Plains"...

BoA Map Question

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone purchased the first BOA version (i.e 1.0). I wanted to know if the version 1.0 included the off map boxes of the Indies, Louisiana, Florida, and Vincennes. I bought a digital download from Matrix, and it came as version 1,10d (not version 1.0), etc... Any informatio...

Thanks... this is going to be fixed also for the new BOA under preparation (anyway just because the map has changed a lot :sourcil: ) Well, I am sure you are right, and trhe new map will be great. So I quess it is kinda pointless talking about "old" BOA scens and stuff. But, I was wondering if the ...

Somewhat of an academic question, as currently neither supply nor artilerry units are set to be autoraised for either side. Cool, I think you are right again. I have been playing of few of the modded scenarious, and all the Supply units are indeed named "Supply". Thanks much for your help. :bonk:

These problems are because the units in question are set to have the same names as various state militia units. The Americans have continental regiments from various states who are set to bear names such as 1st Massachuests, Virginia, Rhode Island, etc. The game does not want to give identical name...

I did the same in the BOA scens (30 days to 15 days), and it was very easy to make new scenarios. Now that you mention the supply usage, I think I noticed the increase drain on supplies when moving a large force. However, I noticed that building a depot or a fort, still required 2 turns. Very nice. ...

In december at the earliest, but it can be Q1 2008. Yes I know, this is a long delay. Personally, I think you guys should put your efforts into another title. As for BoA, maybe someday, there can be an "expansion set" (i.e. not a stand-alone game), that fixes up some of the remaining issues, adds a...

I'm wondering why anyone would play the original standard 1775 scenario now that there's the 1775 alt. scenario to play. I find the alt. scenario far superior to the original. You set the aperture to what size? 128 1. I have to tell you Pocus, this game looks great. I still get some hitching when I scroll after first entering the game, but once all the textures are cached, it's smooth as silk. 2. It could be that some of the notebook computers that provide ATI graphics l...

Don't let Omnius scare you away

Jagger, This is a most interesting mod. I have tried it, and it works well. (i.e. does not cause any crashes etc.) This combined with your regions mod, makes for an interesting game. I like the theory behind the mod, and have seen other gaming rules (miniatures and board games), try to implement the...

I too had some initial problems with BoA video stability. For instance, the text would flicker and wavering of the map when shaded white. I was able to solve everything with diffent AGP Window size, and timings, and using a DVI interface. My machine specs which now works wonderfully with BoA. 1. MSI...

I have located 33 regions within BOA in which region terrain data does not match the map terrain graphics. The map terrain graphics, I believe, are the correct terrain. I noticed this last night. The area Philadelphia, Princenton, Trenton, does not always produce a good path to the target city. Could be a bug, or something wrong with a data element somewhere.

I've found that super stacks are rather tough to do in 1.12a. With the new, improved, tougher supply rules one has to almost have a movable depot to keep a super stack in supply. I can still make big armies as the British playing against the hardest level American AI but I also found I need to be m...

Thanks for the work. This shall be fixed with the upcoming BOA 2 map.
