Region with supply filter on was green, can't remember how dark or light green though. I thought I saw somewhere that the supply filter doesn't take into account multiple armies in the same region. It shows green for each of them individually but doesn't tot them all up. Dont know where the "5x26=10...

Wrong landing

April 1760, Brits FIW, just had a text message that a regiment of foot, one of light plus artillery and supplies landing at Charlestown. Clicked on text message and there they were in Albany :w00t: Putnam was also with them but no message about him.

Supply in tooltip

Playing FIW, Brits, latest patch and COM mod. Hardened attrition on as always. I am wintering in Isle Aux Noix, armies with a supply consumption of 103 a go. Fort, harbour and depot present. The tooltip when hovering on the region says the supply generated is 26, which I believe roughly equates to 1...

Albany to Carillon by boat

I'm sure I've seen this mentioned a while ago, but didn't know if it was meant to have been fixed or is in fact WAD. Bateaux can go from Fort Carillon to Albany but can't go Albany to Carillon. Playing latest patch, COM MOD, FIW. Have also just noticed the text message "Supplies are stockpled for mo...

Fort William Henry, the Mowhawk village one and Oswego get built if you move the required number of units into the area. IIRC they might take a go longer than when your troops arrive there. You don't need artillery and supply wagons to build them. The 2 forts in the south get built and garrisoned wi...

Yes anywhere, need an artillery unit and a supply wagon to do so. Must be at least at half strength, ie two whole elements in each.

I don't think you can avoid it even with the evade combat button. I'm not sure if frigates, light warships, have a better chance of avoiding bombardment. It would make sense if they did. Not sure if it helps the evade value by adding more to your fleet though. I think I was told a fort battery will ...

Here it is, Fort William Henry stack doesn't work, Oswego one does. Unless I'm missing something also showing here is Winslow on the north east coast, not activated but the "H" key does work for him.

Just checked this again with two pillaged areas, Fort William Henry and Oswego, depot in each, stack with an activated commander in each, and both areas pillaged. One stack enters with the "h" key, the other doesn't :tournepas Even tried splitting a unit off and trying that, still wouldn't work. Not...

H key

Have just found out that hitting the "H" key to put a unit or stack into the structure does not seem to work if the area has been pillaged. Have just tried it in 2 different regions, both pillaged, and doesn't work in either. Can't remember an occasion when it hasn't worked before though. Is this WA...

Playing FIW, Brits, latest patch and com mod. Sending Lord Howe, activated, fast mover trait, some highlanders and battoemen to Oswego, tool tip says 37 days. If you're playing with hardened attrition on Arsan is right, you need more supply than you're consuming each go for units to regain strength. If the area is pillaged then you regain strength even slower. Watch out for harbours in winter being blockaded by ice as this lessens the supply aswell. If yo...

Depots and Athena

If you play with the option "hardened attrition for player only", does it mean that the AI can get replacements for its incomplete units if they are in any region with a structure? They don't have to be with a depot? The reason I'm asking is that I'm playing AWI, latest patch and com mod, Brits. Hav...

If you are besieging a decent sized army in a fort then assaulting the fort is an expensive option. If there is a harbour present then you are not going to starve them out unless you blockade the harbour aswell. Besiege and blockade will force the enemy to try and flee or they will wither away insid...

You will see a symbol near the harbour when you have enough ships to blockade it. With regard to the Boston supply problem I've found that it helps if you send the two transports with Howe and his army into Boston and then build a depot with the two transports. Then build a fort with the below strength art and supply wagon. Send the rest of the fleet up to Halifax so it doesn't d...
