In battles, you can only capture ships if they are transports indeed. If you take over an harbor with stranded ships, you can capture some of them, particularly if you are blockading the harbor. There is no boarding party feature in WON, sorry.

Sure, with a new engine and the data we amassed, that would be 'easier', but the task of redoing a game of the complexity of PON must be carefully accessed before writing even a single line of code.

We don't changes game files once they are installed, i.e we don't delete, move, rename graphics or data files when you run the game.
This looks much more like something that is about game installation or Windows doing some things, so you are better contacting support here: support@slitherine.co.uk

Here is a new beta patch bringing ACW2 to latest AGE engine code (1.06.3). It should fixes the replacement bugs, FOR REAL: :fleurs:

These are database issues and outside my skills as a developer. Either one of the design team guy find sometime to fix the DB or a volunteer propose a mod of sort. Sorry can't do more at this stage for PON.

All these are done every turn sorry. But you can tweak values further. For example loyalty change is influenced by the Police value of units, and MC change by the patrol values. VP and NM... in battles by the VP worth of units. Outside, it is a 'relative value' anyway, what is important is how much ...

You did it right, using the options requiring the less memory. Try now to enable back max texture size. Once winter approach, enable back winter images and wait for winter, if there is a crash, then disable it again.

There is another project developed in parallel with the AGE engine, but not by the official Ageod team.

We at Ageod are working with the new engine Archon, developed in-house by Slitherine developers and us. Subject is still undisclosed, but this will be a WEGO strategy game, rest assured :coeurs:
