It is probably better and more efficient to ask that in the beta forum, to the beta leads and designers :sourcil:

Re: First Impressions

The AI improves over time thanks to patches, as the scenario designers understand better from reports how the AI can be guided further. See how RED or AJE improved over time on AI.

Thanks for the details Captain, much appreciated! so both TAB and UG:CW have definitively some merits, in their current state.

They are billions is on my list, but I'm waiting for the campaign mode, because I guess the skirmish will grow old rapidly. After 3 maps, you are done. I'm disappointed by your comments on UG:CW. I thought it would be a really cool game to try, but from what you say... A friend of mine did play it a...

Latest SC3 is very nice and much more modern in feels. It is only about the war in Europe though.

I guess the event would need to be edited, if you manage to roll back before it happens.

WSS is not yet released, but I believe it will be very soon.

Re: Explanation please

You better roll back the turn and then move the units to another place then, because yes I believe it is what you think... :bonk: I wonder what was the initial intent of t he event, probably to displace the units before signing the treaty. You would need to contact Altaris or PhilThib for further ex...

re HOI4: What would you recommend between Black Ice and Operation Overhaul, if AI is very important to the player? I see also there is an 'expert AI' mod mentioned.

HOI4, I really don't know what to think about it. I have read again and again that the AI is much lower in quality compared to HOI3, and a WW2 game without a good AI, is not that great. But I would really like to play it one day.

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and what are you doing these days thread!

Hi gents, I wish you some very good days with family, friends and some good games. If you are lucky to have some vacation, then that's even better! I'm curious what you folk are playing these days? I'm enjoying Heat Signature, which is a nice rogue-like sci-fi 'breaching game', when you board a spac...

ye satellites and vassals are the same, baring cosmetics.

A patch, that would be the solution. I don't know when time will allow that. Perhaps during the beta of our new game, between 2 bugs report, we can slip* a patch.

Re: Main game and DLC from different sources?

yes and no. If you install an Ageod DLC on a Steam version, the files will be copied (provided you know where to install them), but as soon as Steam detects a change that is not 'registered', it will try to revert the files to their expected states. Probably by disabling auto update for EAW it will ...

Re: 1.04.5 not available for Gamersgate or Paradox PON owners

Copies sold through Gamers-gate were not copy protected, Paradox did not want that (if I remember correctly, our own serial keys format was not the one they used in their forum). So in the end, all copies sold through Gamersgate were using the same key, that could be accessed through the configurati...

Sorry for the delay. As the only file I have from your game is the HST file showing what already happened, I restarted a game with Spain and added defensive works to Madrid. It worked, and I checked the code line by line without seeing anything. So I would need the current HST where you have failing...

We are still definitively alive, even if things are going slow in public, they are progressing well internally. WSS is due for Spring and we are really doing nice progress on our new game and engine (release in 2018!)

Re: Too Many Leader deaths? Or working as designed.

You know that each leader model can be customized to have a specific leader death chance in battle? Perhaps this is what PhilThib did for the Turks.
