I seem to remember another thread saying something about using excel but I am not sure about the lay out. I had thoughts of starting with the more prominent generals and working backwards. I became...

Thank you very much... I never thought to load the USA turn. I had thought a loan general were in serious danger; this explains the lack of info on the tool tip when I hover over Hamilton. :-)

CSA units will not attack Union force?

For several turns CSA forces will not attack a Union force apparently commanded by Hamilton. Both Beauregard and Johnston have been active and set to attack but it seems as if Hamiltion is not there. I have attached a couple of previous turns because McClellan has since smacked me around ...

Thanks to everyone that worked on this patch....I've been away from this great game for a while (playing RUS mostly). You've got me playing again...I forgot how good this game is; I just completed a move from New York to East Tennessee...so a new perpective. .....Thanks again!

And it's good for NCP 2, too, IMHO: I think some people will check it while waiting for NCP 2 release, it's good NCP gives a good impression I agree; I am one of them... I unfortunatly know very little about this era. NCP is one of the AGEod games that I do not own and this thred has me considering...

Oh well, for me this is a bit of a disappointment... maybe it will work out. I must confess to knowing very little about Napoleon's Campaigns but was hoping that Nappy2 would get me into it much as RUS and AACW got me interested in their respective areas. Right now I am actually considering the purc...

Sorry Stonewall, all I really am able to do, so far, is match a portrait and model file. The mdls for the Generals you describe seem ok so the issue is deeper. :(

Thanks for the compliment, I also hate generics which is why I got involved with OneArmedMexicans mod. :)

general graphics after 1.04 patch

Hi all, Here are some game graphics that I have reworked. Mostly Finnish... along with a clearer version of Don Poliakov (thanks to wijse for the image) also a more detailed Don Sidorin. (I believe Image 1 of OneArmedMexican's mod has Sidorin in it but I do not see it in the game so I included a new...

I bought all of the AGE games except NCP and BOA1 after I got AACW, and RUS is probably my favourite of the bunch right now. It is perfectly playable, in some ways not as polished as AACW, but in other ways I think it makes more effective use of some of the more advanced features of the engine. The...

Boldyrev should be there he is in my graphics folder and I remember him from the mod ... the MDL file says generic that's the issue... anyway very good work!

To conclude, we have made the game we had in mind and we consider it's finished, except from bug correction. So ok, we won't bring new features in the years to come, but I don't think this mean it is "abandoned".

Good stuff Nikel, Another thing that I do is; If an image is very bright and has little detail... you can adjust backlighting a bit. It darkens/dulls the whole image but sometimes brings out some missing detail; after that add a little contrast or brighten as needed.unfortunately it doesn't work all...
