Re: Legacy Points from Wonders

OK, have started a new game as Rome again, (countless restarts, always a good sign for a good game for me  ) I have the two world wonders in Rome plus a national wonder. For the first few turns the tooltip on the legacy points score only showed legacy from objectives. It is now showing one...

Legacy Points from Wonders

Playing as Rome. I have built 3 national wonders. I also have 2 world wonders and a national wonder in Rome. My legacy score however only shows either 1 or 3 legacy points from wonders, depending on when you look. Sometimes it says 1, sometimes 3. How is this meant to work? Should I get 1 legacy poi...

Health bonus from buildings

First off, congrats on the game chaps  Just a quick question on the health bonus from buildings. It says for each building it gives a certain health %. Percentage of what? I have one region with 4 health buildings for a combined 27%, this is giving me 16 loyalty from welfare. In another re...

Re: Naval interception not possible?

There is a bug in several AGE games where the intercept button doesn't always work....... You have to be in offensive posture for it to work. Change the fleet to offensive posture and then try pushing the intercept button. If it still doesn't work, select another stack, then when you come back to th...

Re: Infuriating

1 I think you might have the automated replacements option set to on, put this slider all the way to the left so that you are buying the replacements that you can afford and need. At the moment I think the game might be spending all your WS on un needed replacements. 2 See 1 3 See 1, the game might ...

Re: Combat Ships -Interception

You have to be in offensive posture to use the button.
If you still can't select it once you have changed the posture, then you will have to de-select the fleet and then re-select it. You will then be able to use the intercept button.

Re: Cantabrian scenario

Agrippa has arrived but didn't bring any extra legions. I still can't stand against the hoards in a pitched battle. We just had one where Baris and his hoards attacked my whole Roman army. He attacked across a river, I was entrenched in wooded non hilly, non mountain terrain, I had better luck with ...

Cantabrian scenario

Baris and I are playing this scenario at present, me as Rome. We have 46 turns left of the scenario and are on the verge of abandoning due to the hopelessness of the Roman position. We are finding that Rome is nowhere near strong enough to do anything..... Am I doing something wrong? Can anybody she...

Roman leaders need 1 command point

Just started a Cantabrian scenario, pbem, as Rome.
My leaders need 1 command point. I have never seen this before. A leader stacked on his own is now using 1 command point.
Anybody else seeing this? Or have I got a dodgey install......

Just put the unit in passive posture in a region with a depot and make sure you have infantry replacements available on the F2 page of the ledger. It will rebuild up to it's original strength.

Re: Better explanation of the simple supply system

Select the stack then hold your mouse over the the icon in the right hand bottom corner of the screen that is the one under the envelope. It looks like a pot over a camp fire, the tooltip will tell you how much the stack uses per turn. It also tells you how much you have.

5 times whatever the region is showing. That is how much supply is available to units.

Re: Better explanation of the simple supply system

No trial or error about it. If a region is showing a supply level of 5, then it will give 25 supply to units. As a rough rule of thumb you take the supply level that shows for the region and times it by 5 to get how much supply is available to units. Units can also take supply from the neighbouring ...
