Something else that bugs me about the bar is that if you want to add two units to an HQ that's a fair bit down you do this:
- scroll down
- drag/drop unit
(list resets)
- scroll down *again*
- drag/drop

Has anyone ever seen the Russian fleet come out in the Baltic? I've sent Scheer to patrol but I've never caught anything. On another note... when one builds a ship, is he building a squadron of 1 or a whole squadron? if its just 1, how to fill it up with other ships? Have you looked at the Russian ...

The diplomacy phase has Italy discontinuing her trade with Austria-Hungary. Adriatic remains closed for the Entente, though. The Germans have not crossed the border into France in Alsace Lorraine yet (except the siege of Nancy). Their progress through Belgium is also slow. Meanwhile, Russian troops ...

Having this in my current AAR game (1.04b => 1.04c). I get the message that the French North African troops are placed at Vitry le Francois (where the French GHQ is), but the units aren't there. Seems like the game doesn't like to put units into the GHQ. Maybe an easy, dirty fix would be to put them...

Let's define our political goals again. It appears recognizing Italy's War Goals didn't quite work, so we try once more, same with D'Annunzio's call to war. This time, we also offer Tunisia to Italy. If the war is won and Germany can be eviscerated once and for all to make France safe that that's a ...

Thanks, hope you enjoy the full game. :) Bear in mind, though, that the game needs still some polishing before bringin on its full potential, s...

Looking at National Will, things look kinda gloomy. France is down to 21, Russia to 24, Belgium has a lofty 40, and the UK has 37. That can't be good. Better win some battles soon. France is actually, if I read the Excel file with the NW effects correctly on the brink of risking strikes. Economic in...

The box version of the game is quite another story.... :w00t: You have to know these boxes have been manufactured once and for all in October, before official release. They have therefore an obviously older and less accurate version of the game... that's why we strongly advise all customers of box ...

I found a weird way of doing it. I open a video file in *another* video player (VLC, Winamp ...) and then the file I want to capture from in Windows Media Player. That allows me to capture from WMP (but not the other player). Don't ask why this works, though, I have no idea.

I know this part (battles) is quite interesting, as you can "manually" engage your corps into battle, but it "could" be boresome to manage every single battle. So maybe an optin to resovle automatically the battle could be a god point, leaving the AI deal with small battles and concentrating on big...

Well, I'll live with that. It's easier to handle in a turn based game as opposed to a real time game, like Hearts of Iron or Europa Universalis. I prefer too much info over too little. :)

Movement paths don't show when loading save game

I noticed that when I have planned movements, save the game before the execution and then later reload the movement paths don't show up anymore (see attachment). You'll notice all the green flags for mandatory units, and when I execute the turn they do move alright, but there's no knowing which unit...

Bigger blackboard (message log)?

In the September 1914 events phase I had a number of politics decisions that popped up but never appeared in the "blackboard" message log; I am afraid they dropped off. That also means I have no idea if there has been any other important or at least interesting information lost.

Units leaving "the main front line"?

Playing as Entente, 1914. I have mandatory attacks into Alsace Lorraine that I executed, having one army in Metz, the other in Thionville. Are you playing the two player campaign by yourself against the AI? :p apy: Yes I do. :) I just looked at the diplomatic map filter (because I find the diplo pop ups you get for every country with all those scales a bit incomprehendible yet. Italy is red to France, while Turkey is Green. Go figure.
