Jinx, you can load and move units onto ships in one turn. Move the men onto the ships then plot the ships movement to the right location. Use the distant unload option. They'll be safe in a turn. Passive and evade combat to get away. The ships will wait for the men before moving. Test it in SP. So, ...

You had three armies sitting and waiting right where the B.E.F. landed? Did he move his fleet into the mines off the coast, and not unload right away?

Yikes! Your first battles on turn 7 both had river crossing penalties. I cringe when I see that for my side. Its going to be lopsided and bloody. PGL, how are you doing? Ajarn's screenshots make the Russian situation look good for the Central Powers.

PGL, I don't know if its too reckless for your situation, but I like to unlock fortress guns as Russia. I figure if they help me to even the odds, against the better equipped Germans, they will earn their morale cost back.

I think you mean munitions trains. They are expensive. Around 200 gold and 400 war supply. Munitions factories are made by event, and you will need some of those.

yes, the austrians do get some good defensive generals. playing as the cp in my own pbem the problem at the start in 1914 is that the austrians only get two ammo dumps and are therefore very limited in their ability to use artillery early on. how did u solve that problem? i have even been toying wi...

Railroads have definitely been the key to my defense as Austria-Hungary. For that battle, I think he made the assumption that I would rail north to Lublin. My armies had been shifting, between Lemberg and Lublin, for the last two or three turns. Defeating all of his invasion attempts in the process....

On a contrary, you can update freely if you started the game with 1.01 beta version. You can even update if you started it with 1.00. Only in that case your ammunition wagons will be depleted since 1.01 increases their capacity. If you are upgrading, from 1.00 to 1.01, the only issue is ammunition ...

Corp commanders can MTSG in support of any valid adjacent force. They don't need to be stacked with them. Its a change from other AGEOD games like CW2.

I should have mentioned this earlier in case you didn't already know. Ships in smaller units are more difficult to detect. I think that applies to blockade boxes as well. My raiders are spread out individually on green/green and evade combat to make them as stealthy as possible.

Surface ships can raid commerce. Light Cruisers are very good at it. Their speed makes them hard to catch.

They do need to make some kind of adjustment to this part of the game. It seems like a gaping hole in an otherwise well made product. The coastal ships could use some kind of ability like 'forced march' for land. Only it would allow them to make short dashes across open water. The penalty would be c...
