Is there a way to attribute war score through script? I mean, I can script in the effects of a desired event, but sometimes I simply just want to help the AI and let luck decide what it will ask for. This stems from the known problem of war score sometimes not going high enough for the AI to ask for...

No idea if this is a bug of the engine or not, but the USA made peace with the CSA after I made peace with the USA myself. Strangely enough, when I look at the treaties screen there is no "armistice" so, given that both countries hold objective towns of the other, I expect them to commence...

I don't know if it was a bug or not, but it was impossible to make the warscore rise enough and even if I had enough points the USA was never agreeing to my terms. Sometimes I love to hate the AI. It did NOT agree on my terms so the war drags now well into 1863 . And although I seized most of the critical objective towns of the USA, they war score is now lower than before to get Dakota and Montana. Possibly. But this is the base game we are talking about and a bug that was not there before. This warscore issue and the non-national regions (101%) automatic change for some colonies were bugs that were introduced later.

I am about to invade the USA as Great Britain from Canada. It just turned 1861 in my game. If the warscore sticks to about 101-116 as I noticed in the wars of AI (or minor mine) so far, it means I won’t be able to ask for the juiciest of American territories or for example to liberate Texas or Calif...

This bug shows up in my game as well. It is impossible for the player or the AI to claim the juiciest provinces or colonies if it stays stuck.

It's not for the faint of heart, Austria is really powerful in this one and has been in and out of wars with almost every neighbor since the early 50s. Their army is huge and experienced.

This is much more common than I/we probably thought. Happens in different AGEOD games. I wonder if the culprit has ever been found. Advising to disable the UAC or the antivirus is a little bit extreme, I feel. The game should run normally even without such customization, as all other games.

It is frustrating because it is a new machine. So everything is the latest. More frustrating is that the instability is totally random. I might process 3-4 or even more turns and then, boom, crash. I might reprocess the same turn and it might go on, but it might also block completely. Some more info...

There are three issues here. 1) If it was the UAC, I should be getting this error every single time. I take it randomly. 2) It is not UAC, because I launch the game with all privileges as I am the administrator, not some kind of delegated user. 3) I really don't want to mess with UAC for the reasons...

But will it be fast? What we came to love in AGEOD games is how detailed the stats can be, but this comes to the speed's expense. I personally treasure complexity and speed much more than graphics, at least for this kind of games. :)

May I guess that it uses the same base mechanism as frontage? This could make sense as frontage is the same thing, more or less, but applied to battle. i.e. it tells you which units can effectively fight in a region according to its status.
