I reloaded it and it worked fine after I tried it twice. Been saving a lot since. Cal, do you realize what an awesome job you have done? I swear this title deserves a better look by wargamers especially considering the state the game is in now. The amount of choices and detail thereof that is given ...

I agree that this game looks great. I've had it for a while but never gave it much effort as my rig struggled to process what is the best and one of the most sprawling map I have ever seen. Well I got a new computer and WOW! I cannot believe how deep this game is with all of the hundreds of special ...

Not so subtle hint?

For this reason, beta testers running Windows 7 64bit are strongly welcome! I'm your Huckleberry. In U.S. terms it means I would be happy to test some things for you. My time is limited on the weekends but I do have ample time throughout the week. PM me if you need any help. H. Tonk

Oh I don't have a problem now. Had the demo on an old vista computer but have recently upgraded to a new one with win 7 64. I wanted to make sure there was no problems before I got my hopes up. BTW, I loved the look of the old map even if I didn't care for the orientation. With that said, the new on...

I never bought the original game because I had so much on my plate but I must say that I will definitely be getting this the day it comes out. Great looking map!

Please tell me that it will work on windows 7 64 bit.

Good job Cal.

After following this title for months at Matrix games I came here to take a further look to see how WW1 is progressing with the intent of a purchase. It does look like it has come a long way. But, that has all changed after reading this thread. I refuse to give a nickel to a self-described MILITANT ...

I would have to say that the manual for BOA was my least favorite thing about the game. Seemed vague and incomplete in too many areas. I really hope this next title will have some more documentation.

Love the game though.

Nice going. Much better performance as far as scrolling is concerned. Thanks for the update. You guys have made a game that I am really enjoying and can count on a purchase of AACW from me.

Please, not everyone at once. One at a time with those answers. :siffle:

Is this forum a bit stale or is it that my question/comment not worthy of reply. Or maybe everyone is just plain busy.....

I'll check back in a few days I guess.

A comment concerning the map

From the aar thread and posted here instead. I have to be honest here. A lot of the provinces are hard to distinguish from one another, especially where rivers are concerned. i.e. the start of the rivers don't quite reach the boundary of neighboring provinces. Some I really can't tell where one ends...
