Waiting for the patch here as well. I agree with earlier posts, I just keep going back to the American Civil war game again and again. I think that RUS is the best, or at least the most polished of all the Ageod games. I own all of them! For reading on the Russian civil war, try "A peoples tragedy" ...

Best way to learn the system is to jump right into a game and start playing. Do the tutorials first, but then jump in. You WILL make mistakes, but then look up the answers, or come here and ask questions. You'll probably restart the game many times till you get the hang of things, but you'll learn m...

I considered holding off a bit myself, but if you have any doubts, try the demo version. After playing it, I could hold off no longer. It is well worth the purchase price to me. The nice feature of the family of games that AGEOD has produced is that once you learn one game that uses their system, it...

Thank you!

This AAR is very helpful. I just purchased the game. Could not resist the 50% savings.... I am on somewhat familiar ground with the game system from having played the other AGEOD games, but am new to this theatre. I look forward to not only playing the game, but in also being educated about this tim...

Well....still searching for answers. I have checked microsoft's tech forums and have a few ideas. I have three possibilities that I will be looking into. 1. A problem with my sound card. Even though I have updated the drivers, I am told that it is possible that all the old drivers or registry entrie...

Still no luck :( I have also updated my video card driver(Nvidia GTX 260) and sound card driver (Creative SB x-Fi) also. It seems that it is game engine specific, as my other games are running. Napoleon total war for example runs as do other Matrix games, FoG, etc. ..... Same message comes up when I...

I run it, but after after it starts, I agree to the license, then a window comes up with "Please type the location where you want to place the extracted files.", a blank space and a browse box to the right of it. I directed it to the windows folder, but I don't think that was right....it did not cha...

where to install directX

Ok. I downloaded the diectx 9.0 from your link, but it asks me where I want to install it to. I directed it to the windows folder, but it did not help. Should this be installed somewhere else? Thanks again for the help.

Game will not start

Hadn't played in a couple of weeks, but when I try to start up, now I get an error message: Exception Exception dans le module WIA.exe dans 0010F00F Failed to initialise directX audio. DirectX 8 may not be installed The game always worked before, so I suspect it is a vista update issue. I tried AACW...

Had a problem also. Use the DivX menu from the start button, go to "helpful links", then "DivX support". A Blue page will be displayed from their website. The third line has a link to "the DivX All in one fix v1.81", click this link. then part way down the page is a link to download the all in one f...
