Re: Newbie Corner

Does a unit's police stat affect contentment in a region? I've finally made the Wallonians stop destroying stuff but they're still on strike. Do I need to just keep throwing referendums and such at them until they quiet down? Also, I have some influenced territory in Africa, but I can't seem to get...

Re: *Diplomacy, News Reports and Announcements

We hope to see a speedy diplomatic resolution to the current crisis in Europe. It can seem that no good will come of open conflict among four of the largest powers in the world. We remain strictly and entirely neutral, and only ask of the involved parties to respect the Treaty of London and not sen...

War Declared!

Great Britain has heinously and barbarously declared war on Prussia, over a few mud huts in Nigerian Africa. Their savage aggression, not only toward Prussia, but toward all the world who might oppose their naked, brutal colonialism will be met by all the force and power of the Prussian and Austrian...

Re: *List of Current Players and Open Nations

Then i would like USA. What days/times should i be here? We run a turn a day, the deadline is 10pm EST or so. I don't always run the turn 100% on the dot, just as close as I can get. If you miss a turn or three, it's no big deal, we don't really care, but your nation will get turned over to ai cont...

Re: *List of Current Players and Open Nations

Silly question but how are you able to play some of these nations? New to PoN, forgive my ignorance. You can make any nation playable through the console. Just type switchto ___ (Where ___ is the game's three letter abbreviation for a given nation) and the game will generate turns for that nation. ...

Re: *List of Current Players and Open Nations

I got the dropbox invite. Im not sure what nations are open/playable at this point. Would really like to utilize a teamspeak or steam to make file transfer and communication faster and simplier. You can see what nations are open from the list up top. As far as teamspeak etc, I'm open to that, but o...

Hey again, I still can't send a PM nor respond to the ones I get. I guess this will change if I'm active on the forums for longer? To make things easier I just put my E-mail in my 'Interests' box in my profile. I'll remove it after things get sorted. I sent you a dropbox invite. Let me know if you ...

Hey everybody, I've been enjoying this game as a single player experience but want to jump into multiplayer. I'm relatively new to AGEOD games but am eager to learn more. Prussian Response to British Statment

It should hardly go unnoticed that Great Britain is also a fortified camp with the largest navy in the world. Is it official British policy that they are the only nation of the world allowed to build forts, to build navies, to have allies and to claim colonies and that any other nations doing so are...

In that case we have nothing to add to our further statement. It appears that France is committed to a war of aggression. As indicated, we will honor our treaty commitments. Re: *General Player to Player Comments

Given the possibility of a major European war, I'll be password protecting my turns from here on in unless we can reach an agreement for peace.

So I won't be up to running blank turns for everyone who misses their turn anymore, if you miss a turn, your country will go to ai control, unfortunately.
