Yes, this usually happens because you did not provide yourself with admin rights to play. you are right, it is self correcting.

Re: Too Many Leader deaths? Or working as designed.

Hmm, I am pretty sure an analysis which blames the player for poor play is totally off the mark on this question. There is no game mechanism to 'protect' a leader from loss. To suggest this is possible is very silly. Actually, holding at all costs has no correlation to leader death. I wonder why you...

Re: Russian Civil War Metagame AAR on Wargamer

This is interesting. You reminded me of Berg's really fun six player game of the Russian Revolution where each player draws leaders, red and white, and then has some leaders of both factions and the units attached to these leaders. Not quite the Metagame you show, but six players in a really confuse...

Re: Synchronize Move

You do know this is a great puzzle. I vary selecting synchronized move with MTSG due to varying situations. I do not always make the correct choice. Usually, it the army commander is kind of slow, synchronized movement is the correct choice, but if the army leader is fast, I usually keep him in rese...

Re: Supply Wagons

I get how a wagon gives benefits to field armies being able to move supply around and what not, but in a fort or city it makes little sense to have to have one to decrease surrender. Conceptually in my view, having a wagon inside a city or port reflects the prudence of the commander to prepare for ...

I rarely disagree with Baris, but in this instance I do. In my view, this is an excellent and balance game for one player to control both Sertorius and Pontus. Makes for a great challenge, but with reasonable balance.

Re: Too Many Leader deaths? Or working as designed.

WON follows the pattern of Civil War II and provides a yearly allotment of leaders. These new leaders very effectively take care of the need for replacement leaders. Remember, with the necessity for the Army Reform to fire before leaders really become effective at leading corps and armies in WON, el...

Paradox is not such a friendly forum as it used to be. It now insists upon tracking you and monitoring your activity. I am no fan of Steam, but it is slightly better than Paradox with regard to being gamer friendly. My suggestion, just search and view the AGEOD forum for Pride of Nations support and...

You kind of solved this issue here

But you may need to expand to explain to players how to deploy this fix so it runs in all situations.

Thanks

Passage rights for vassals

Ok, I am having some trouble creating a file to drop which would allow the Ottoman's allies to enter the regions of the Ottoman's vassals. It would need to change the prohibition into a traverse permission - kind of like a diplomatic agreement of 'Give Passage Rights.' Any thoughts or suggestions? I...

Re: Posture question to attack an other region when ennemy is already in the start region

This is a tough one, but what I do is drop the corps I want to attack the unit in the next region on the force you want to attack. Make sure you are in Blue attack posture and Orange defense posture.
Dropping will create the attack. Being in blue stance will let you get out of the region, usually.

Re: Supply

I do not know for sure. I calculate supply based upon elements, not current stock. Each unit has a certain number of element, usually from four to ten, but if you click on individual units you will see how many. Regions have a supply value. A city, for example, might have 20 supply. You gather suppl...

Great line of play.
It might work. I have tried this unsuccessfully, but with a lot of progress. My problem is I do not keep NM in control. But as I am abandoning the Schlieffen Plan I am working to make your line of play my successful line of play.

Re: Loaned Spanish fleet can't be returned?

Well Cpt O I must disagree. As Russia I have two Swedish fleets as 'loaners.'
There are also no in game mechanisms to 'break' the treaty which loaned the units.
Thanks for your thoughts, but they clearly do not apply to this situation.

Re: Mantuan War - 1634... how much longer?

Well, maybe not light but at least noise. This is an event which kind of works as intended, but not always. Some thoughts by players about how this might work would perhaps flesh out the event without the current pitfalls.
