Re: Use of Armies before Corps are enabled

Armies won't initiate offensive combat if accompanied by some other friendly stack in the region. They will defend normally. If there are no other friendly stack in the region they will initiate combat normally, both offensive and defensive. I "think" friendly units inside a structure in t...

Re: My Hannibal is no terror

Sounds like a fun game! Have you patched up the game? Hannibal deadlines was increased on one of the latter patchs. It's strange he didn't decisevely defeated Roman armies in your game ... To bypass cities and enemy armies instead of getting struck on their ZOC (zone of control) you need to have at ...

Re: Reinforcements question

It usually means that the unit has absorbed one of the replacements you have on store. You can check them on oneb of the ledger pages. Infantry usually have 4 max elements, cavalry 3 and irregulars 2. But a lot of units start the scenarios missing one or more of that elements, to represent understre...

No, if defeated they retreat inside the city again. You can try to scape with some fast and highly evasive unit (cavalry, irregulars) using green/green posture and evade orders and dropping them out of the city and into another region. Sometimes it works. But regular troops usually get engaged in co...

Re: Actual city supply and province loyalty again.

I think the supply tooltip info already includes any loyalty modification. It should be pretty accurate. Maybe other friendly forces in adjacent regions are draining supply from this region? Maybe a fleet? The consume a lot of supply! To increase supply you can build multiple level depots in the cit...

Re: Postures for an army and its corps

I would advise putting the guard under Napoleón, on the army stack and use this army stack as a reserve for the nearby corps stacks. It works Ok in game and looks pretty historical IMHO. The corps on offensive will engage the enemy and the army stack, if in the same or and adjacent region, can be co...

From my experience, supply on AJE is quite abundant... You just have to get the hang of how it works.
For unforgiving supply situations try BoA2 or TYW ;)

Re: Supply

Supply level*5=supply points in units.

You can gather supply on the region you are and adjacent controlled ones if you have at least a supply cart on your force.

Bear in mind that supply carts also consume supply, so better send empty ones back to base to replenish.

Leibst, the developer, is Spanish (as myself).
In Spanish "success" is translated as "éxito".

So I bet he just had a little lapsus and wrote "exit" instead of success in that line and nobody noticed until now ;)

Hi! The red shading marks the region (or regions) you cannot move the currently selected army because of the ZOC (zone of control) the enemy army you share the region with is exerting on you. You will need a certain amount of military control on a surrounding region to be able to move there when in ...

Yes, there is a bonus based on the offensive and defensive values of the group leader (5% per point I think). And besides the group units will benefit from any special ability the leader has.

I don't have the absolute truth about this (or anything else ;)), but i think the garrison thing works more or less like this: When the enemy enters a region witha a walled city the game makes a roll for each level of the city fortress. Each suscessfull roll will generate a garrison unit inside ...

Yes, the supply produced on a region should be shared among the stacks in the regipn or adjacent to them with a supply wagon.
But un case os lack of supply i dont know how the system prioritize where and who it send the supplies.
