I'd really like to see PON2, but since that's off the table, a new setting would be good - Three Kingdoms period is popular right now with the new Total War game set there. Or a Sengoku game.
The first time booting up after installing this fix (in the German Unification Event) I get a CTD with the following error in the log (Reporting) Main unexpected exception TApplication , Access violation at address 00405A4C in module 'PON.exe'. Read of address 0000F3C2 try: -12 [Critical ] TFrontEnd...
Would these changes be able to be applied to games in progress (so long as they hadn't progressed too far) or would need to be started with a new game? I'm a few years into a new game as UK.
some observations. Turn processing is now excellent. I think that RuS or Civil War2 now are slower - at least early game. The only state that seems to create 'odd' wars is France. So far in my game its managed to get into wars with the CSA (1850) and California (1851). I ended both by script. The d...

I have to say the game looks great, as did the original Napoleon’s Campaigns (although the text for the regions like ‘Surrey’ or ‘Normandy’ is hideous! It looks like some back alley graffiti has been sprayed all over my map – can this be modded into a different typeface? Something contemporary to th...
Pocus wrote:Indeed, this PON official patch seems vaporware but is not. I can tell you that it will now also benefit greatly from all code improvements of WON.

It's not as hard as it sounds - download fraps http://www.fraps.com/download.php, run fraps and start PoN. Just hit F9 and you're recording. The free version only gives you 30 sec - but hey that should be plenty!!
Up to turn 100, and their is still less than a minute between turns. The Taiping rebellion is on, and I have had some minor colonial fighting, but still, less than a minute. I know that not everyone is this lucky, but this seems to show that the between turn issue may have a solution, hopefully for ...
