Re: Losing Commander in Chief

That's a good catch, but I think that however this shadow commanding is not so gamey, as Ageod, to speed the game, had cut (shadowly lol) hard in the engine, the command radius about from range 16 to 7 regions, which is historically not enough. So, those 2 drawbacks quite invalidate each ones. Sure,...

Yes that's one main flaw of the game: many explain/warn texts are missing ingame, so which works as trap for newby players.

Touch the State, the hard way: Smash it. Democracy is power of the people, not of representatives/commissaries over them: republics are against democracy, so the true democrats are against republics, being (untruthfully) democratic republics or popular republics. Gaston Leval died some months ago. H...

IIRC, the manual was based on RiseOfPrussia, maybe it comes from there. I'm not sure, Andatiep should tell better.

The game use an old AGE engine, so you better have to use the WindowsXPsp3 compatibility as an option in the icon launcher of the game.

Kind of funny. I hope you meant to be funny by calling Barcelona merely a town. My english is not enough good. I wanted to say that Spain was a rural country. Sure there were more factories in Spain36 than Ukraine18, but people was mainly paesants, even they were not 80% like in RCW. I get your poi...

Well, kind of exactly like in the Ukraine, except in Barcelona it was an industrial model, not a rural model. Barcelona was only a town. The remaining country was mainly rural. Or you mean about Spain AFTER the victory of Franco, so much that many retirados coming back to Spain didn't recognize it!...

in Spain This was a collective, localize commune. Exactly like in Ukraine. They were workers. For bolsheviks the farm work does not count, it's for the lazy and the kulaks. Very different than our idea of anarchists as bomb throwers. Without violent anarchists, Spain would be doomed since day one o...

Funny how the trotskits advocate what they destroyed when they had power, acting like, and even worst than the Madrid governement. Do as we tell, not like we did. Anarchists, Durruti, in Spain: Yes! It is up to the Eastern White players to follow the warning. If they didn't, the Czech troops will have enormous cohesion malus and will become nice targets for the Reds which will gain a lot's of VP when destroying them. a RUS 2 would not just be a graphics/interface overhaul, but could try some interesting new ideas. It seems there are not enough preorders to re...

Re: What if they kept Lenin in exile?

Of course Lenin believed in the power of the working class, whether they were organised in soviets, factory committees or trade unions. He believed in the power of a government class over soviets, he was for power of a party over people, what he did. He lied when he was suddenly telling the countra...

You are arguing a Menshevik position here (the same position that the Bolsheviks took prior to Lenin's return to Russia in April 1917), The problem that you have is that this position (the idea that there had to be a long period of capitalism before the creation for socialism could be put on the ag...

It was the bolsheviks who wanted a Constituant Assembly , they had it 2 times, and each time they were not elected, the Socialists won. Do you mean the dissolution of the Constituent Assembly here? Because democracy in the soviets definitely did continue after the October revolution.
