Re: Windows 10

I don't own Win-10 but can run the game reliably in Win-8 but use Win-7. What are your settings in the WW1G Configurator? If not already set, suggest the following: - Do not install the game in any of the Program Files directories. Install it directly to the selected letter drive in its own unique f...

Re: PON official quickfix 1.04.3

Thank you very much loki!!! Don't forget to delete the Units.Cached and Models.Cached files before running PON and after running the update. The files are located in the ...\VGN\Game Data\Units and ...\VGN\Game Data\Models folders respectively. See this thread for more details. http://www.ageod-for...

Re: immortal replacements bug

You're very welcome, glad to be of some help the PON community. I would suggest that deleting the cache should be included in the installation instructions for updates in all AGEOD titles. As I recall doing so has been suggested in the past, I certainly did not think of this on my own, but in my opi...

Re: immortal replacements bug

Hi Vaalen. Before installing the 1.04.3 update (or after installing and before running the game for the first time) did you delete the Models.cached and Units.cached files located in the ...\VGN\Game Data\Models and ...\VGN\Game Data\Units folders respectively? Deleting these two files does no harm ...

Re: Economic Aid Question

I'm sure that this works as I recall using it successfully to send aid to Turkey from Germany. There may be a couple of things in play and I believe that aid is the last expense deducted even if the deduction shows off the top. If so this means that if there are any events/issues that reduce the Giv...

Dumb question perhaps but where's the download link for v1.04.3? Tried the link in Post #2 but got a "This download is no longer available" message. Thanks in advance and apologies if it's obvious.

Did you change sides? Have seen this happen if you start a game as Catholic and then load the saved game as Protestant; the conversion RGD will remain Catholic and vice-versa. Otherwise just checked my current Protestant campaign as Protestant and the RGD fires as intended even with the latest patch...

OMG I didn't figured out this is just a real clock. Don't feel bad, my first AGEOD game was Pride of Nations and the damn clock in PON drove me nuts for quite some time. Surely it could not be as simple as being a real-time time piece and something so profoundly useful just had to have some...

Regarding the Legion E'trange . There are two regiments of the Legion in Algeria in the (I think) 4th Algerian Bde. Given the size and role of the Legion at that time this seems about right and a third regiment was not raised until 1852. There was actually a move to disband the force in 1850 after a...

The ability to build Foreign Legion units is also missing in my from-scratch PON v1.041 installation. With AI aggression set to normal there were some seventeen CB's issued to player-controlled France and the assorted AI powers from various factions after Turn-1 of a new 1850 GC. I don't recall CBs ...
