Assuming it is working the same as the Matrix site: The icon beside the boxed edition option signifies which type the boxed edition is: CL - means it's collectors editon (colour manual + disc) ST - standard (grey manual + disc) DX - digital (pdf manual + disc) In this case the boxed version appears ...

I am pleased to hear another game is being developed with the AGE engine (I have all of them - hoping for 30YW) but I'm not as down as a lot of the posters here on the announcement for Napolean's campaigns - although it is hard to judge by only screenshots at this stage I'm already interested in the...

Like some of the guys above I would love to see a Thirty Years War game - The AGE system would be a perfect match - lots of potential scenarios.

I'd suggest going after Morocco and other North West African areas - I quickly became the leading colonial power in most provinces - France will probably become a problem though (sooner or later) - it was much easier make an impact there than in the other areas such as Tunisia.

When I got this decision it has the constraints set as between Track and Track - Is this as designed or should it be between Track and Road or Rail? By the description of the decision it would suggest it should be higher

I think Austria is quite simple to play but not so simple that you don't get to do anything: - no real colonisation unless you turn off historical settings and even then it's a minor part. - there is a good mixture of resources to develop throughout the nation - good practice to focus on building a ...

A 1900/1901 GC start would seem like a good option - with the amount of effort put into modelling early aircraft / new technologies it would be a shame if most players barely used it because the normal GC is very long - plus Japan is really hitting it's stride.

I'd use F4 most of the time but the 'B' screen is very handy for checking where the goods I want are being traded (and how many in each location) - it's a huge timesaver if you know man. goods are only available in North France rather than checking every trade region or there is nobody buying the av...

I had this frustration as well for a while. When you select the industry the green areas show where you can normally put it but when you drag it over the map all areas that have an increased / penalty cost (for rough terrain etc) change to a lighter shade of green / brown (not good at colours). If y...

In the available treaty list you should have a 'Declare War' option after you receive a CB - click it and choose OK at the bottom the same way as you would if you were offering any type of treaty (commercial agreement etc.)

The garrisons are auto generated in certain structures to take away some of the micro management - cities, fortresses etc. I don't know for sure but I don't think the military outpost is defined as one (definitely not depots) - There would be a battle report in the message list if there had been a b...

Just to add my backing - I've no problem with DLC in this instance - New in-depth scenarios are new content in my opinion -as opposed to the Vikings etc in Civ5 which should have been in originally, the grand campaign is the main focus of PON here. I knew it was not an official game from AGEOD but it is published by them (and on their engine) so they must be getting some cut of the money, therefore it would make sense if the game was given more exposure on the Paradox forum. More money for Ageod = more money for the Paradox company as a whole....

30 Years War

I think the 30 Years War would be a great choice - it would suit the AGE engine and the experience of Pride of Nations, ROP and RUS would help when dealing with the multiple factions / unreliable allies for any grand campaign. There would also be scope for any number of scenarios due to the differen...
