In the war production screen there is a tiny figure in the upper right corner of each unit being built. That's the approximate number of turns left. When you go to the town where a unit is being built and select that unit, the number of days left is indicated when you hover the mouse over its pictur...

As per observation the fleets transport capacity is treated as whole and only gets diminished, when the transports loses elements. Then a part of the expedition force gets lost, but I don't know the formula.

Anybody observed else?

I had best results with slightly extended range and an advantage in activation for the ai. Having your own troops being stalled while inactive while ai only loses performance while inactive seems to do it. Edge in production is not so much needed I always found. It might be the case that they don't have merchant ships in their force pool at all.

Albert Sydney Johnston is 4-2-1 Alexander P Stuart is 4-2-2 B. Cheatham is 4-4-4 Both Corps took part in the battle (Both Alexander P Stuarts Corps and B Cheatham Corps) Johnston never took command (although he was sitting in same region as Alexander's Corps) So after this battle .....................

Quick guess would be that a unit is referenced for some action that is not there anymore. (Group (UID/Name) 1044527 1.Garrison Bn. Tradepost)
See if you can find appearances of that particular unit in your savefile and if yes simply edit it out.
That would at least be may first step.

Works for me in any unit, except when there is only one element in the unit alltogether (sharpshooter, balloon,...). Still you can hover over that elements symbol in the elements list to the right when you highlight the unit

I have digged a bit in the event code. Have I understood correctly, that a chance of 25% exists over a rather long period of time to backfire. Is that correct and if so, has anybody ever successfully reformed Ottos?

Civ lvl affects supply and transport afaik.

Only other point to consider imho is an aggressive South that wants to keep every edge in battle that higher NM provides.

Filter away fleets
Filter away non-leader units
(Filter away locked)

Sort by power value or elements

That gives you a rough list as big units are not nescessarily divisions.

AFAIK, it only works on corps level, when all corps are of the same army and start from the same region.
