Re: Finding Resources in National Territory

The silk in Edo was just a hypothetical example. I already know where to find stuff in the includes folder. I'm looking for the code that tells the game to randomly discover the resource site, whether its a rice in Edo or Coal in the Rheinland or whatever. There has to be some code somewhere rolling...

Finding Resources in National Territory

All, I was looking to mod some of the smaller aspects of the game. One of those was the rate at which resource sites are randomly discovered in national territory. Example is when you see the message "Japanese Prospection Team found some Silk near Edo." There has to be a script or code str...

You have a defensive alliance. You would only get a CB if Ottomans declared war on Austria.

Re: PON official quickfix 1.04.3

That system works as intended as it mirrors diplomatic relations at the time. Smaller nations would routinely follow a larger parent nation's course of action. As for Portugal going after Britain. Portugal has an advantage in that they have less space to defend. Don't underestimate them.

Re: Issues still extant in 1.04.02

Most of what you have reported is the game working properly. Nations only sell goods out of the trade areas in which their capital region is located. You should not access French goods in the South France trade area because Paris is in the North France trade area. This changes only when the nation c...

Its constant, especially with Russia going after the Ottomans, USA attacking Mexico and/or Spain are also constant. Upgraded to 1.04. Some really good and some really bad observations

First, off thank you to the developers for continuing the updates. The Good: So far my turn processing time is lightning fast. Mere minutes for turns and several years have past. This includes turns where there are several major powers at war. If the game keeps it up, I will be very pleased. Second,...

It is not a bug but more a set up for the balkan war. Historically, Greece took some territory from the Ottomans. In the game, the loyalty is actually being adjusted after these events if u look closely. The Rebel loyalty actually gets added to the greek loyalty. This ends up giving Greece a claim o...

First off, the patch needs to be dropped directly into your PON directory. You have to overwrite the patched files. As far as Prussia goes they are my favorite in this game. German unification works. Its not perfect but it works. By not perfect I mean some events seem to have a bad link to their tex...

i know the script to make regions explored. That can be done from the console in game with the proper region IDs and adding decision cards is not difficult. Advantage of Colonizing to the point of non-national territory?

Greetings All: Hoping to crowd source a strategy. As Italy, I have been investing in the Horn of Africa extensively. Its 1886 and its all paying off. There are scripted events and decisions in that area. China is a power, you can't just take from them without formal procedures.
