If it's hard, it's got to be hard! :) *not automated replacements as well Actually, having automated replacement on (and at a low rate) might not be a bad idea, if hard is what you're aiming for. In the EE game I'm playing against Athena I had a Russian army tha...

Are their modifiers to using sentry mode other than simply skipping the unit in the "next unit" queue? This button needs more functionality, btw. Say I'm using it. I hit SPACE to select the next unit, then I can hit SPACE to sentry the unit this turn. Now, I must deselect the unit in order to proce...

It's January 1862 in my game, I selected the invade Kentucky option as the North, but nothing happened. Is there a date after which you cannot invade Kentucky and it stays neutral for the rest of the war?

May 1862: South has over 2000 manpower available. Bug or WAD?

I seem to be swimming in manpower as the South. Since the start of the game, I've chosen ask for volunteers twice, but my available manpower has reached seemingly improbable levels. If I wasn't limited by money and war supplies, my army would be twice as large right now. Has anyone else encountered ...

I am heartened to see my comrade-in-arms Jim take up the banner of this meritorious cause. It does require becoming partisan, to make the choice to stand with one side or the other. As for me, I seek to join in our common humanity in the war against the bugs. All we know is that there's still no co...

And that's ok too. There are lots of tactical level Civil War games out there, and I'm sure more on the way. I play a strategy game for the grand strategy. That being said it would be nice to inject a sort of "game plan" overview for an upcoming battle, a council of war, if you will. I agree some w...

Crap, I must have bought it from a store. I do have a disk for it, so I guess that's the case. Oh, well. I'll just rebuy it once the price falls a little lower. No worries.

This discussion is fascinating. Only six days ago Arsan was predicting Schattensand would soon be complaining about the stupid AI. Lo and behold, 15 hours ago Schattensand is complaining about how stupid the AI is for sending deep raids in winter. You are an Oracle, Arsan! Delphi has nothing on you.
