Will there be a comprehensive patch so you only need to patch the game out of the box once?

No, I had similar issues in army activation mode, that's why the game is again shelfed especially after I read that calvinus is going through some more issues (and he just said it's 12 pages of to do, so wait seems to be in order).

I agree with you Bern. Easy solution would be to forbid the forming of new governments after the capital has fallen.

I see the manual has some errors which still mention counters! Apparently, some leftovers from the boardgame.

So, Calvinus, looks as if you squashed some more bugs (and the important sound bug as well, eh?), so the usual question...when will we see the beta patch ;)

Observation

Hi Calvinus, one quick observation on my first real playthrough with 1.06. I have no issues with a lag so far. However, when I scroll through the building window, after scrolling down a bit through all available builds, I get a message stating that Germany aquired the siege technology? Why the popup...

Hi Calvinus, I my opinion, you should not do a mixed approach. Either you disable all seq or none, since even one could lead to a crash, correct? I suggest you make this an option and add a hint, that antivirus is to be disabled for those experiencing crashes. What are those files good for? Does the...

So, next patch when? :-) This game is so complex with so many possible permutations. I feared that to be the case as I consider La Grande Guerre the most complex wargame in my collection...after that, you are ready for any boardgame translation! Let's see how it works when the first multiplayer game...

Edit: the main cause of the lag is the recalculation of the Fog of War informations... huge stuff... What I can do is to add some trick to force simply an update of FoW filters, rather than a reworking of the whole filters! Understood. But we simply add new troops to the same field? Is it for AI re...

This is excellent news. Frankly, I have never understood why this game is the only game with this pause 'feature' out there. Now, if you try to eliminate the lag when detaching units as well (this somehow takes sometimes several seconds), I am more than happy with the current version and I might fin...

For what concern the pulsating yellow filter, I must say that this informations are calculated without considering the presence of obstacles that would stop the move, sorry. 24.2.5 mentions a test each interphase for going into Guerilla war...is this an option each interphase? how does this work in the game? In the boardgame, you simply roll the dice, how does WWI handle this?

Oh, and if you are looking at this, try to make popups out of the combat results. That might make them much more easy to see and understand...the current overlay of the colored fonts is not intuitive at all. Something also would be nice: mark the units that have been used in the last combat round wi...

I wondered about that the first 10 minutes when I read the naval rules...finally, I am proven right. You might change that in the manual and in the game (later, Luca, it is not a priority :w00t: )...so it should be: Aufklaerungsflotte (with ae being an umlaut: a")
