You have limited number of coton bales. Sometimes some of it goes bad and you get nothing. So, if you don't play the card, you are gambling for larger sum. In my experience, if you don't play cards at all, you'l be able to sell abot 20% of the cotton you have for 50 $. is there anywhere that lists ...

Rosencrans should have waited for you to cross. Who was this against? Athena? What is the NM of the Union?

It is an impressive battle and a sad day for the Union. I suppose it is the end of the young Republican party.

Wheat, I'd take advantage of the offer by BVW to share screens. However, reading back over the post, one player doesn't send the ORD and the other the HST. Follow the instructions exactly. One player works on things at a time. * Enter your FIRST turn and DO NOT PROCESS- SAVE and close the game. * Se...

If the fleets are all in Fort Clark NC, this is a bug which has already been reported, but I haven't heard what was going to be done about it. This issue is: - the fleet contains ships which are not shallow; steam frigates, sail frigates, etc - the harbor exit point from Fort Clark is into the wate...

Fleets will not move, are not locked. East Campaign PBEM

I'm in a PBEM with GregVanM. GVM is playing USA v me as CSA. He asked me about three fleets that are seeming locked. However, there is no sign they are locked. Greg gave me permission to look at the units (this is from game turn one. We are now on game turn four and it appears they are still locked)...

It may be hard to understand for people who haven't lived in the US, it's hard for some of us who live here to wrap our heads around, but same the "Confederate" flag which some adopted as a symbol of hate and segregation is today used by many as symbol of individual liberty. Being from born in New ...

BTW looking at the US state flags I only see Mississippi as problematic, others state flags seem to differ so much from the battle flag that I doubt they should be changed. Is CW2 affected, was it for sale on itunes? Is itunes the same as the apple app store? No, ACW2 is not affected. It is available for download to PC. Slitherine sells a number of games on the iTunes store, but there are no Civil War titles. The terms iTunes and AppStore, in this story, are the same.

Apple removes games with Confederate battle flag from iTunes

Reuters, The Hill and other news outlets are reporting that Apple has removed games from its iTunes store that feature the Confederate battle flag. Games include 'Ultimate General: Gettysburg' by Game-Labs, HexWar Games and several games by Hunted Cow. "We're in no way sympathetic to the use of the ...

In general I place a militia (or other units such as naval engineers, shore batteries and supplies) inside cities. There they improve the defence of the city. Outside is the main force. You have a nice summary Capt. Orso. I myself think of how Western Civilization would have changed if the South had prevailed, either militarily or politically.
