I come here every morning only to see that the last post went up 19 hours ago or some such. There has to be more to show than...

It means the first player (initiative) plans and executes all his moves and battles ( no army-by-army), then the second player. Nothing unusual. The only point is that I believe you are not using (enough?) the "Merge Ambassadors" button. ;) It should be a standard behavior, also in the boardgame. :...

Does this mean I could move the Armys I want to then change to strictly turn based for the rest of the phase? :w00t:

Also, anything unusual about having so many Ambs?

How did I get so many Ambassadors?

In June 1915 as CP,two player, turn based, I just completed the diplomatic phase and had so many Ambs that I really couldn't do anything. I think I have enough to send two to every country. Is that the intent? I had a 0 rated one in Turkey and tried to send him home so I could employ a 3 rated one s...

"Merge Ambassadors". How and where do you use this. Can't find it mentioned in the manual. If its in there, my appologies. Well, maybe one more, What does "no movement path" signify when sending an ambassador to a country. For example I get this when assigning one from Germany to Turkey, even when I...

It's not the server either, since others have pretty nice download speeds :( We're looking into what it might be, but have nothing to report so far. I have tested downloading form other sites and have averaged 400-500 Kb/sec. and have reached as high as 900+ Kb/sec in the past. For what its worth.

The download for for beta patch i downloads at about 30kb/sec for me. Over 55 minutes. The patch installer then will not run with a message of a corrupted file. This same thing happened to me on the final manual but some kind person set it up at another site and i was able to download at a decent ra...

Ok, let's go step by step. Every Events phase you draw a variable number of event "cards" (this number depends on how many major nations you control). These "cards" may be mandatory events or stratagems . In case of mandatory event, the event must be played. You see a newspaper looking window and a...

These have probably been discussed before so appoligies. I just don't git it. Example. I have a rebellion figure standing in Trieste with french colors on its base. Here is a zip. When you complete the Military phase and get to the event phase the STRIKE anouncement in the news paper screen should come up. The crash occurs as I move my cursor over the screen to respond to the STRIKE event. Also Cal, after the Military phase, the POLITICS phase happens. I still ...

Because I have never gotten that far in a game, reports such as these are somewhat troubling. This happened in War in the Pacific. The first several months were very active then as you got farther into the game the AI just went to sleep. Hope not the case here.

Yes I got the same error message. The download was real slow @ 35kb/sec. When finished the message pops up. I was asking only to open the manual file. I use Power Archiver and have for years. As I said I had downloaded the manual through chap. 17 a few days ago. What could it be?
