Trenchfoot, I'm curious, Have you ever won as Germany? I have this game stored away. If I remember correctly, the central powers had to get those red victory cities, but the number needed went up every year and getting one hex so hard, that Germany had no chance. A friend and I played several games ...

With every new Ageod game I pray they improve the AI, but every time I see the same old Athena nonsense. I thought a WW1 game would force them to alter it significantly, but I guess I'm wrong.
IMHO this engine just isn't up to too this.

Other WW1 games have no problem separating the resources of the different countries. I just don't understand, Do you mean Germany/A.Hun. share the same resources? England/ France share the same resources? Seems like a strange design.
Am I wrong about this?

This is the first Ageod game I am going to wait and see. I just not sure of this one. I was sort of disappointed with CW2 and I'm not sure their engine is good for WW1.

Take Gen. Jackson and a mid size corp , swing left of Washington and take Baltimore. Then sit there and union moral will break. Works every time against Athena.

I like the new game, but I prefer the old one. I'm not even sure why. The new one feels "ahistorical" to me. Like I said it is a good game, and it is my own mental hurdle I must get over.

For the aggregated power value, we will make that optional, some of the betas already expressed they preferred the old way.

I must say I find it weird having several stacks showing exactly the same PWR being the total of the region rather than the stack themselves. It strikes me as a pretty weird change.

In fact I think it is appalling. Can I change it?

You can play the whole game without using any Regional decisions. In my opinion, they are for "flavor" mostly. Very few seem worth it.

Now, for the official patch we will probably abandon this constraint, the rational being that the place where the artillery arrives is the delivery place, not the production place, so artilleries will soon be able to be built in any city... Less complexity for everyone. Hmnn.....I'm not sure about ...
