Hi Phil,

If you need additional 18th century history buffs and Ageod games veterans, then I'd be happy to lend a hand wherever it's needed.

Thanks!

Description text where? In the message? Mouse over?

In the event log itself it will say something like <eventtxt pressburg peace> in red instead of Austria accepts Peace Treaty for example

Test with patch 1.02 and Pressburg Peace Event started with a new game. Event fired after having elected to enact it but the description text didn't actually have any description in it but instead only showed coding language which makes me assume that something went wrong in indicating within the sc...

Thought I would drop in and give a quick update. ;) Calvinus and I have been further testing and we definitely believe that a de-synching problem, that we had experienced a couple of times while playing through the PBEM system, is now finally under wraps. We will continue to test the various stages ...

Sharing some WW1 PBEM experiences with Calvinus

Hi all, I have been testing the new PBEM functionality of WW1 with Calvinus and I can say that it´s immensely fun :D . The AI was already pretty good in handling the complexities of WW1 but playing with a live WW1 opponent is a whole new ballgame. However, due to the nature of PBEM in WW1 all battle...

Giving Combat Bonuses to the AI on higher difficulty levels

Hi! Been a long time player of WW1 and I´d like to know what the general consensus is among other players in terms of giving some bonuses to the AI when it comes to combat on higher difficulties ONLY (4 and higher). The AI as it stands right now is doing a superb job in what it can do to prosecute t...

After some more testing I think I discovered the problem of depot razing. I havent tested it on Forts but as far as I can tell the option to raze a depot will only appear if the stack, you are attempting to raze the depot with, only appears when this stack does not contain more than one supply wagon...

I already destroyed Depot ? Maybe only the depot level X cannot be destroyed. Or depots in cities? Hmmm, well as far as I noticed, I was not able to destroy the depot inside a fort for example. All it showed me was the destroy fort option, which it did but the depot still remained and to my chagrin...

Destroying depots does not seem to work either. This is the case with a fort or without a fort. Once depots have been errected they cannot be destroyed anymore.

Fort can be burnt down as usual however.

Also make the AI stacks go after enemy stacks as much as possible whenever possible, UNLESS it is severely depleted in strength (less than 50 %) then have the AI turtle up its stacks at cities with depots and/or big harbors whenever possible to replenish. :D

Thanks for the report, it has value for me, but only one report is not enough though.
