Sounds perfectly logical to me.

You also have alpine and impassable regions where range is even less, 3.

Cavalry in mountains also useless. Well unless you consider mules and donkeys as cavalry :niark:

Cannot find colonial regions or the contrary.

My guess is that this ability was inherited from PON and is not working.

Re: Drawing the Face Cards

Just tried 2 times and got the same result. In the off-map box they are listed by rank and seniority. This is the code that manages the decision in WW1_UnlockGenerals.sct , example for Germany. I understand that : Must be at least 1 general in the off-map box. SelectSubUnits appears 6 times because ...

You are posting in BOA forum, not in BOA2, also known as WIA ;) The last patch is 1.10e that can be downloaded from ftp://ftp.ageod.com/pub/WIA/Patch_WIA_v1.10e.zip Then apply the quick fix 2 (Patch_WIA_1.10e_QF2.zip) that can be downloaded from the first post in this thread http://www.ageod-forum.c...

Well, the vanilla version of the game is still on sale.

AFAIK the last version of the mod, once the original modder Clovis vanished, was done by anjou. However the download link is not working

Remember that this same bug was present in the release version of RUS Gold and required Pocus' intervention, so the problem must be in the engine.

Usually Ageod's answer to this kind of problems is that you open a ticket with Matrix/Slitherine support desk.

support@slitherine.co.uk

Have you tried it?

Other people reported similar problems that were solved editing the save file and removing the problematic unit(s).

You may edit the save file with a text editor.

Backup the file before messing with it :siffle:

No it's a desktop... Windows 8.1, (1 GB Nvidia Ge Force GTX650 video card), (AMD FX-6300 processor) with 16 GB ram. I don't check the settings very often but I decided to check my Ageod games and they're all over the place. Some are set for 10% physical memory a couple at 50% and 1 that I set to 75...

Re: Any suggestion? All Ageod games crash when loading

I have no W10, but I guess you may uninstall the suspicious update for the crashes and then restart. In windows 7 is, Control Panel, Programs and Features, view installed updates and then right click on the update and uninstall. Check, googling for the KB number, that you are uninstalling the kernel...

The games did not change, so the problem is in your PC.

Also bet for a windows update, so after which update the problem started?

What did they tell you at Matrix that did not work?

Post a log file, so that Pocus can take a look.

What was done with RUS Gold is a good compromise. A separate pdf listing the events. You have the information there if you are willing to read it, with no ingame info that spoils the surprises. Once you have played the game and the surprises are mostly gone, you still has the pdf as a valuable refer...

On the other hand, the Ottomans definitely should be looming as a threat to Russia (and the PLC, I guess) and available as a potential ally to Sweden. I haven't played the campaign past 1707 (or something like late 1706), so dunno if Ottoman entry is already possible later on. +1 The units and comm...
