Re: Fatal Years

All of them, jastaV, Clovis, andatiep, even Ageod, are gone, so let them rest.

Re: Will Units only be Giants ? Or will AGEOD Style Units be an Option?

I also prefer the good old boardgame looking, for the map and units.

But I'm afraid it is gone forever :(

The problem is not that we are old, but that you are too young :niark:

Just a suggestion in case you are interested.

You may edit your screenshots with this free application, adding arrows, circles, texts, whatever you consider.

Re: Problem

"C:\Program Files (x68)" folders are managed "carefully" by Windows.

I install the games in a different folder, for example "\Matrix Games" or "\Games".

Re: Can anyone explain why I lost the campaign?

I haven`played the game yet, but: As far as I can understand the devs of RUS Gold didn`t rely on solid texts only as background material for the game but they seemingly also relied heavily on Wikipedia(!) as a historical source. In that case I can understand that some people may find some areas of ...

Re: Problem

Perhaps Windows prevented changing a file, depending on whwre you installed the game. The serial is stored in the file General.opt that should be in the folder \Settings You can open it with a text editor and add/change the serial, you should see a line like this: Serial number (unencrypted, keep th...

Re: Hindenburg hindered

Arrow has just pointed me to a 2015 post by BBBD316 indicating that Hindenburg doesn't get the call-up if Russia doesn't invade Germany - presumably fairly early in the time line. This seems to be the event that controls Hindenburg's appointment, I do not see any reference to any date in the condit...

Re: Carolus Magnus AD771

The Age wiki website has stopped working, even with view sources workaround, so it is sometimes harder to find the right tool to make features working as intended. Another nail in the coffin. Now only available, and incomplete, in the WBM: https://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.ageod.net/agewiki/...

Re: Carolus Magnus AD771

I remember the old times when Rafiki gave titles to special forumites. No doubt Bohémond deserves one. When the forum is in decadence, PhilThib gone and Pocus using another engine to create games, not his own, Bohémod is still modding it! Paraphrasing Julius Caesar's Ultimus Romanorum, we may call h...

A question to Pocus.

Just thinking.

Now that you are fully focused on a new engine and without PhilThib.

Have you thought on liberating your engine with its code so that perhaps somebody can continue and maintain it alive?

Re: Fatal Years

Both Clovis and anjou are long gone, so I guess there is no problem uploading it.

Credits to the authors, specially to Clovis.

This is v1.09 redux, that AFAIK was the last one, after anjou modified v1.085 by Clovis.
