Re: Why are Russian Supply Train replacements hideously expensive (in WS)?

So.

5% inflation and 97 NM then 119 WS.

15% inflation and 60 NM then 122 WS.

Your situation is much better, however the cost is similar.

I suppose the 122 number is "artificially selected" and 119 is according to the development of your game.

Re: Why are Russian Supply Train replacements hideously expensive (in WS)?

Ah.

In 1916 scenario, at the start with 15% inflation and 60 NM for Russia, the cost is WS is 122 (103 money and 15 conscripts).

Which year and NM in your game pantsukki?

Re: German naval raiders

Yes, the commerce raiders are supposed to cause casualties and disruption in the allies merchant shipping while they are in the high seas. I guess you may also put them in the shipping boxes like u-boats. No idea whether the effects are identical or not. Regarding the casualties, it is normal that t...

I can't recall the message exactly, but it nominated "areas around" Volkova, Alekhnova, and Veliki Luki. Though not specifically mentioned it also produced the abandonment of areas around my monitor, computer desk, and all residential facilities within earshot. All in the Northern part of...

Re: Editing NM?

The .hst files may be edited with a text editor like notepad. Experimenting a bit, opened the 1916 scenario .hst file and searched for the VPs number, they are 5255 for the CEN faction, this line appears: 7|5255|8|2000|10|80|0|2000|11|2090|12|1800|6|25|17|6| 80 is the NM, if you change it to 180 and...

Regarding William P. Duvall, I do not know why he was included in the game. Not remarkable his curriculum in the Great War. https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/123165192# Anyway a portrait that must be contemporary to the war is here http://www.launion.gov.ph/images/custom/profile/william.jpg

Re: How to add new portraits and biographies for generals?

According to the russian wikipedia A. Dragomirov raised in the ranks through General of The Cavalry, one grade higher than his border V, Lieutenant General.

So perhaps is more appropriate and also easier to edit the name of the commander and change V. to A.

All the files in the save folder are needed.

Anyway what you comment probably is related with this event:

1919/01/11 -> (Alternate History) : White Fleet in the Baltic sea

For the explanation look at page 42 of this document in the docs folder ENGLISH-Game Events Chronology.

The first thing I would do is uninstall the game, then delete the folder with any file that may remain.

Restart the computer, install and patch the game.

Thanks. Interesting. For some reason the Steam vesion won't let me change the memory setting (fixed at lowest). I can move the slider, but it doesn't stick - when I restart it's just jumped back to the bottom of the scale. Same goes for the slider below it - textures size - which is fixed in this w...

Re: where's the manual?

You are right, the manual is lacking in that particular information. But the tooltip works. It is: The relative land and naval strength of the enemy compared to you (100). So 76/0 indicates that in land forces the enemy has a 76% relative to your own forces, 3/4 if you prefer. And 0 means that has n...
