Looking for multiplayer opponent

New to PBEM and have played against the AI only. Can make moves daily or every other day. No preference in terms of union or confederate. Historical settings preferred and grand campaign.

Prefer new player or newbie to the PBEM game.

Hi,

Exactly how does this work since the game has 3 main factions. One of us want to play the reds, the other all the whites. We want to play without the AI playing any of the 3 main factions.

Each unit costs Command Points to use. If you have a deficit in CPs, then a stack of units moves and fights less effectively. The Northern and NW whites have militia units but not the White Western faction. Does it have to be activated or is there a way of getting it?

The unit was in the original (non-gold) version of the game.

RUS is my favorite game and the AI while not perfect does a really good job of putting up a fight. I am wondering if the Espana AI can equal the RUS AI. I don't have quantitative data, but there seems to be a difference between countries. Playing as the U.S., turns took 5-10 minutes to resolve. Now, playing as Russia, maybe 3 minutes.
