it seems no-one has had this problem then, as there have been several viewers but no comments. Thought I might provide further info: If you mean that the mouse is very jerky and imprecise at times then yes I've had this problem. It's so much better than it was in the beginning that I guess I've lea...

Ok, you mean a sprite dedicated to the normal move + rail conv. Job for Gilles! :) Yes. Exactly. That way you could tell who's converting rail just looking at the map. Rail move has the picture of a train so maybe the rail convert could just be a section of RR track or a single arrow over a RR trac...

Some other issues: The convert rail way button. Is it on or off? Who knows, its very unclear. Would be really nice if you got a special 'convert railway' circle on the unit on the map instead of just the regular move circle when converting rail with a unit. I'm talking about the rail, normal move, ...

Just verified. Interceptions take place normally in army-by-army mode. Probably you was a bit unlucky: all enemy rail moves or large river crossings? ;) Thanks. Could have been river crossings, I didn't really look for that. Turned out OK anyway as the armies I felt I should have intercepted ended ...

Btw, GHQs are moved instead during the activation of the same-front main army. Aaaaaah! Thanks for that. I was just wondering why I couldn't activate my GHQs. :) Playing my first game using army by army activation. I much prefer this mode to the wego. Is there a problem with interceptions in army b...

I got used to play without music, but with no sound, that's not good at all. I tried with "load sounds at start" also and its not doing anything. Lets say that with this patch I have no sound at all. No Sound Effects 1.05l

I have been checking the Sound Effects check box and not checking the Ingame Musics check box since the beginning in the configure game tool and have always had sound. With this patch if I don't check the Ingame Musics check box I have no sound at all. I can still turn the music off in the Options m...

By the way... Can you post here a zipped savegame? ;) Here it is. It may very well be the battle issue as it's 2nd turn of 2 player campaign and I'm playing as central powers. I was able to play from beginning of July 1919 to September 1919 with no hangs or CTDs! A new record for me ;)

Keep up the good work Calvinus! And get some sleep so you don't end up looking like this ->

Political AI - Loop?

Twice yesterday I had the game stop while the Political AI dialog was up during the Military phase. No CTD just sat there. Went away for 10-15 minutes and still there so had to kill with Taskmanager. Third time it did get past it and I was then able to continue.

I think the sluggishness from my previous post may have been from reloading the game right away after a CTD. Maybe some resources hadn't been freed up from previous run that crashed. 1.04b Mouse response

Mouse response seems to be worse under 1.04b. Large erratic jumps and unresponsive for long periods of time (10 - 15 seconds) with no indication that AI is doing anything. Happens while AI is paused, according to the message on the screen anyway. I skipped 1.04a so this is comparing 1.04 with 1.04b....

I'm mainly experiencing CTDs when I quit the program. In addition to the usual "WWI has encountered a problem etc." error I got the following three dialogs in regards to un-handled c++ exceptions before the usual dialog: 1st dialog: Program: Program\AgeOD\WorldWarOne\WW1.exe File: dbgdel.cpp Line: 5...

1.04 issues, wishes

Had a CTD when exiting the game back to the main menu. It was after saving the game and then going back to options to quit. I'd played for probably a half hour or so. Under 1.03 I'd had only one CTD in about 9 hours of play so they hadn't really been an issue for me previously. I'm running with conf...
