I was not aware I had activated it, but if so: i could resume the game later on anyway, so it wasn't a gamestopping crash. Just reporting so you'll be able to get the game even more stable.

Hi Pocus,

Thanks for the reply. Currently I am fiddling around a bit with CWII which means a lot of restarting the Grand Campaign, so I have many savegames which I can't distinguish between :(

If I have another crash, I'll keep the savegame seperately and zipped so i can post here!

Having the same issue as the OP, different games have been crashing in late '61. Sometimes i could resume, after restarting the game. This last time I couldnt. Hopefully someone can find out why it's crashing for me. Another game, another crash. Is more information needed? Will gladly provide.

just a big Thank You

For the community and devs that make it possible to have patches still coming out like... 5 years after release for this game!

Only see that happen in rare instances so Kudos for you!

Cheers,

And more: "Hengeh", should most likely be Hengelo. Hengeh doesnt exist. The province north of Amsterdam should be called either Den Helder or Haarlem, in stead of Texel. Texel is an island and very sparsely populated (especially at that time in History). I dont know if these suggestons are appreciat...

I noticed some misspellings in the Dutch area (Netherlands) on the map.

The Province of "Wolle" should be Zwolle

"Arnheim" should be Arnhem, Arnheim being the german spelling, but definately not the native one.

whooo... wait....

Militia CAN be trained into regular infantry?

Can you form brigades with multiple elements with then? (E.g light artillery and cavalry added?)

Or will they just be one or two element brigades, with regular infantry?

Thanks for the replies guys. So basically the mobilization of men as the CSA is free for the first few months (because of the free replacements you receive); however, materiel should be ordered in the replacement box. Your remarks above have led me to two other questions. 1) When purchasing a new (r...

When do replacement regiments deplete/get used?

That's the question. Let me elaborate. Playing as the CSA, after a few turns you automatically get the mobilisation of your two virginian Armies (Shenadoah and Potomac - the CSA one). These start depleted and need replacements. The bulk of these armies is infantry (line) so i order a lot of line inf...

Hi Pocus, Restarting the computer did the trick for me, but thanks for the reply. On another note: is the training of regiments supposed to be completely random? It seems my most remote garnisons are trained to crack infantry, whilst my main armies are not (playing as americans). I hope my training ...
