I have finished the grand campaign on normal as the Union and am almost complete 2nd time thru on Hard, also as the Union. I am thinking about playing the CSA next, the challenge of the south's position has appeal, but playing the Union has always been my preference.

When my forts fire on ships I see the firing during the turn and then there is a note in the turn recap that says hits for each side, but there is no battle summary. Am I missing something? I think I have sunk enemy ships in the river but only see hits given; or have I not sunk anything?

Hi You can play without leader activation (check the options menu) but i would not recommend it. Does this mean you would recommend play with no movement allowed unless activated?
