the reason is and anyone else correct me if i am wrong in assualt formation it just makes them continue attacking until place is captured.

I also just noticed you attack him in the mud so that probably reduced your coehesion by a good amount. here is a tip the little picture above the units if its a man and a trench the entrenchment level is below 5, if its a gun behind a trench entrenchment level is 5+

well what i can tell by that is you attacked a level 800 entrenchment that is probably the major reason why you lost so many men, plus his luck roll was higher i dont know by how much but that also hurt you. well what i can say is that at the start of the war west virginia was technicaly virginia until lincoln made it its own state because most people there were loyal to the union.

well it allows you to move up and down the river it also opens up plenty of routes for invasion of the south. i not really sure how it effects conscription other then taking cities like memphis, and st. louis. also supplys will not be able to cross the river as well

What i noticed when we tried 3 new games was that the first turn would work, but the second turn then would not show in the load game area after i had downloaded it and put it in the saves file under the subfolder for the pbem. then when i hosted the next game to see if it would work i put cwnut77's...

lol its kind of funnythat the regions with fort sumter and pickons would still remain loyal to union, because there would be no union population there, sumtner not that big, I dont know how big the island Pickons was on but i doubt there were people living there other then the garrison, not complain...

Yes, Johnston did have his troops spread out thin, but it was the plan that both he and Beuragard came up with because they knew they would be spread thin but they planed to use the railroads to bring troops from areas not in any immediate danger

well if two of those units die then you should be able to build them right away, they will still take the normal time to get completlty up to strenght though. nice to see you here on the forums

i say not full u.s. map but expanded arizona, because there were other battles fought out in arizona during the first year, but effentualy it was given up. Also more cities added to missouri would make the game better, like ask jagger if the cities from his pbem mod could be incorperated into missou...

I noticed for all of your other games it has been possible to order the box version of the game, is that option possible for wars in america, or is the only way to download it

I do find it hard to believe that that kind of naval AND land power can be amassed by the CSA against Athena on HARD difficulty. a reasons why i have good control of washington d.c. is that i also landed all british troops from londen in delawere to move up and cut there supply lines and railroads plus athena keeps sending a couple cores up to upper canada to keep my british army there so she spread out, situation in the West...

i could have massed up my armies while the fleet but i was doing fine because i cut off athenas supply line by sea while she had control south of the james at winter time so that probably hurt her then i used johnsons core of 30000 men wipe the floor with army of northeastern virgina

i getting alot of income 200 dollars a turn about, then almost 200 in warsupplies a turn. during late 62 through all of 63 i only made a few divisions of troops to help push athena out of lower virginia so i had plenty to use on massing fleets it doesnt really take that much cost about 700-900 dolla...
