There is no plan to delete it, I would be warned most certainly before they did that.

No DLC are necessary to play with all possible units in Kingdoms!

That's actually a RNG ed name, for starting ruler we don't have entries to set the Family Name, something that will need to be improved in the future. As they are all already in charge by definition, it was deemed not too important.

Sorry, but the old AGEOD game, pre-2018 are in legacy mode, i.e. they won't (or even can't) be patched further. The price factors that more or less.
