yes, I am all for the militiamen returning home to their farms and to impregnate their wives, thereby producing even more future enlistees; BUT I think even the most clueless leader (granny gates :bonk: ) would realize that his ragtag army is about to go home at the end of December.... (I think the ...

what do you mean by cumulative?

do you get 1 VP on the 1st turn you take a new town, 2 on the second, and so forth? so holding an objective for a long time becomes exremely important?

Disbanding militia

Is there a way to see how long the militia and other troops have enlisted for? I reallize that with some leaders troops will elect to continue, but it is annoying that my troops all leave me high and dry Jan. 1 with no warning whatsoever.... we all have heard one reason Washington crossed the delawa...

Another suggestion, my 2 cents

it would be nice at the end of the campaign for some sort of review-- perhaps a timeline of objective cities changing hands, leader deaths, and a recap of the 5 largest or bloddiest battles or something...sort of similar to how we all learned history in the past (and thus got us interested in this g...

I couldn't resist playing longer, Pocus, thus I believe the file is gone...

Looking back at it, as it has happened again, I think what happened is that the game told me I won, but all of my units were lost (a pyrrhic victory). I really just figured out how to read the battle report.

Are you sure G. Washington didn't escape to another american city? In my campaign, Washington's army (foolishly, he let me lead) got caught up in Norfolk, and was slaughtered by Burgoyne, about 30,000 Germans and 10,000 Redcoats....we lost ALL of our units, but only one of 5 leaders -- the other 4 p...

Zone of Control

I hope 2 straight topics doesn't bother anyone, but they are completely different questions.... i have benedict arnold, another leader, an empty supply, and a regiment of rangers up in Tegyndhydre-whatever, up by lake erie -- i am stuck in a zone of control problem and cannot move them out of there ...

Glitch?

I won a battle (quite an upset actually about 2 leaderless militia in a fort vs. sir henry clinton (i think) with about 3 regiments and a supply) while being besieged as AME in the 1755 campaign. However, without another battle, my small army (2 militia garrison) was removed from the board and the n...
