A few other notable things: I accepted the exiled Spanish Monarchy events and placed Joseph on the Throne. I think a turn or two later, I had the decree of building a supply base throughout Spain. I accepted that. Now, I have options to send supplies to Spain but when I do that, it does not appear i...

Nope, I am getting out of supply garrison units across Spain now. Still all Spanish controlled. It must be bugged, as Spain are not at war with the UK as they did their own peace about a year ago, Brits have landed at Corunna and are just sitting there, the Peninsular Army I soundly defeated at Por...

Naploeon vanished along with Murats Corps in Oporto in Oct. 1808.

October 1808 - I lost Napoleons Army and Murats Corps whilst stationed at Oporto. Completely lost a whole army plus a a corps whilst stationed in Oporto at a turn when Britain invaded Portugal. Oporto went back to Portugal controlled. Vanished, not in ledger, nothing. Arghh... I cannot continue this...

The deal with French Spain.

Ok, so its Sept 1808 and I just took Lisbon and I get the exiled Spanish monarchy decree - I accept and put Joseph on the Throne of Spain. Two turns later, and I am getting French-Spain turn up in the diplomacy page, but Spain as a country is still Spain - there are no French-Spanish controlled regi...

I feel like going back to RuS (this time the gold edition as I bought that game day of release....again it needed patching for the AI to become up to scratch), simpler perhaps, but I think one of the better Ageod titles. loved the armored trains!

Hmm. You had Koeinsburg, Danzig, Berlin, right? I think the Decree tells you what to have before it works, perhaps you clicked on it and one of the conditions were not met? If you do it in 1807 and have Warsaw and Lodz and several divisions there, then you have the option of Duchy of Warsaw - best f...

You get Magdeburg and Hamburg? Plus also if you do the Duchy of Warsaw event you get a whole new allied country - nukes Prussian abilities later on (although I have never quite got to invading Russia yet).

Tilsit needs Hamburg, Danzig, Koeinsburg, Warsaw and I think Lodz (maybe that is the Duchy of Poland however). You need several divisions to be in place to fire it.

Well, for one thing the Unit leaders biographies are not included in this game. I offer to write these up as I have a book (David Chandlers 'Dictionary of the Napoleonic Wars') which contains all the important Generals, Marshalls, leaders of this time - its is an impressive book, but there seems to ...

As France, what to do after Pressburg and Tilsit? Very quiet

I am just curious on the next best thing to do after Tilsit? Ok, I subdued Sicily, annexed Tuscany and am about to send a force to Sardinia when my transport ships are ready, but since the Tilsit Peace accord, nothing is happening, as I made peace with Russia, and GB is not doing anything at all in ...

Something I have noticed re: Supply Depots (the unmovable ones you usually capture in cities), is that if you have an out of supply unit, if you stick the depot in the unsupplied stack, then it immediately takes supply from the stationary depot. Otherwise I have noticed in my current game stuck in P...

I believe Athena could manage a 1812 - 1815 mini campaign. I mean, you start with the Grande Armee in full strength and slowly start to dwindle - two years should be more managable than the full ten years we currently have. On the other hand, I hope Ageod can fix the AI - I believe that is possible ...

Thats good Rebel Yell. Short, to the point, key moments in each of their careers. I do not mind spending a few hours each day typing this up? The Chandler book is (now) very expensive to buy but it is packed full of all the nationalities involved from 1789. Really good source of info.

The leader mini-bios

I have a copy of David Chandlers 'Dictionary of the Napoleonic Wars', which is invaluable for a game like this to get the background on all the important Marshalls, Battles, History etc. I notice that in game the small bios when you mouse over the leader portraits are missing. If you need someone to...
