Would anyone be able to share the beta patch again? I can't download it from any of the links above. Thanks!

Neue Preussische Zeitung - Late Feb. 1862

Victory! On 21st February 1862 the Kriegsmarine and Royal Navy clashed in the Bay of Heligoland. After a bloody engagement our valiant sailors, led by Prince Adalbert of Prussia, prevailed on the aggressors and liberated the sea from the British blockade. For the first time in centuries the RN has ...

Re: *General Player to Player Comments

As a neutral nation with a friendly stance toward France, I volunteer to send in a blank turn on November 5th for them, if everyone else is Ok with that.

Re: *Diplomacy, News Reports and Announcements

The Spanish government would like to express its support for the French actions in the recent weeks. The Austrian armies have done much more then defending from an aggression when they captured many cities on the French border; We hope all parties involved will find a peaceful solution for the retur...

Re: *General Player to Player Comments

Well, then I believe we should first define how many countries are open and then advertise on the forum. This game is really too good to be played just by a few of us. So, who else is still in besides me, France and Germany?

Thank you very much for your efforts running the game.

Pretty sure we could just script an end to the war, along with your RR/treaty related stuff. Sorry not to get to that yet, just been so busy :( I'll try my best to find the time to sort all this out by the weekend. Ok, no problem...in the meantime I'll try my best not to get kicked in the ass by th...

On a different matter, but still related to the French-Spanish treay... an historical event about the Spanish-Moroccan war just fired this turn. Needless to say this war is totally whitout sense, given the actual situation; Morocco is now a Protectorate of a friendly European power, and I suppose it...

No, sorry. Working like crazy this week, have barely had time to run turns. I think I can get to this next week though, it looks a little more free. The Kingdom of Spain is happy to sign the mentioned treaty.
We all hope that it will be a new beginning to the troubled relations between France and Spain, and the first steps on the path of becoming a rich and industrialized nation.

Signed

The only sea access to Stockholm is a "Shallow" sea province...that means most of the Swedish fleet, being ocean only, is stuck inside the city. :(

Portoguese cities development

I've noticed that all the major Portoguese cities, Lisbon and Oporto, have a very low development level (20, same as countryside). This is different from most of the other major european cities and prevents Portugal from using the "Draft" and "Volunteers" RGD. Unless AI minor nations are given CRC i...

AI Portuguese recruitment

Hi All, Having taken over Portugal in a 58 turn long PBEM, I've noticed the AI did some bad choices in recruiting during the last turns. Despite being invaded by Spanish armies, Portoguese are mostly building garrisons units, costal artillery, light warships and merchant ships. That's what they're b...

I've started a new game with the patch and I was happy to see the French AI use its naval forces a little better this time! I've started a new GC...at turn 5 I've won many easy naval battles and as the Brits I now have 151 NM, while the French AI has 89, despite the fact they are steamrolling the Austrians in Germany and Italy...and I've done nothing beside keeping the blockade. I agree with the OP.. I really think that IRL it was possible to cruise the Western Med staying clear of Spanish and north african the costal guns, but it's impossible in the game...there is no sea province that isn't bordering a city from Gibraltar, all the way up to Cartagena...I'm ok with costal ...
