having figured out how to get the PBEM video replay working for this game, and played solo a few times, now looking for a human opponent (if anyone still plays!).
Happy with either side, and would suggest aiming for a couple of turns a week - nothing too strenuous.
Does anyone please have the comprehensive patch notes up to 1.10b that they could post? Franciscus attached them in an earlier post in this thread, but the file is no longer available.
Thanks Durk. I thought that only worked if the particular AGEOD game created a replay file, and that not all do. Have you got this feature working in TYW? If so, I'll try again with the Command Console
Will this game have a Replay function, as many other AGEOD titles do? I notice that TYW hasn't, and I think this feature would be a significant addition for PBEM.
In any event, I am very excited about this title; ECW being my favourite wargaming period.
"About WON v1.00 ; no people were able to play GC without crashes..."
This is simply untrue. Mine has not crashed under any version, and I'm sure that's the case for many others. Whilst, I have every sympathy for those who are experiencing CTDs, exaggeration doesn't help.
Whilst I am here, I would like to suggest that the ledger contains your total amount of troops instead of having to work it out with mental arithmetic by pressing the shift key on each Corps or unit. Kev Amen to that! Would also be nice if it was broken down between infantry / cavalry / artillery i...
The Synch Move command requires that the Army HQ be present in the region. You give the Army HQ the Synch Move command along with any other Corps you wish to coordinate. Move the Army HQ to the intended region and you'll notice that the Synched Corps are coming along for the ride. The intent of the...
Hi! Yes, it works only with army/corps who begin on the same region. The other kind of coordination wouldn´t be very historical, i think. Too sophisticated and complex to achieve with the communications systems of the time. Cheers! Thanks arsan, but isn't that exactly what Napoleon did? Moving his ...
The Austerlitz Walk-Through is a great help, but I'm confused over a couple of issues (well, many actually, but these are the most immediate!) 1) How does the synchronisation button work? Is it only applicable to army HQs / corps starting from the same region, or can it be applied to multiple corps ...
As a new player, this is fantastically helpful! Any chance of making it into a .pdf document that we could print and read offline with the game running?
