Sigh..I figured the shipping charge would be redacted, so I tried to complete the order, and the shop went error after paypal accepted. So now I got no download link, no confirmation email, no game and added shipping charges. Looks like I shouldve waited till tomorrow :bonk:

I had a question about beseiged port suppy in the new patch- port cities definately recieve supply now (yea!) but, I don't understand why they're getting so much. I was just playing with it on the Spartacus scenario to test and Tarentum (5 naval base) has a supply level of 29 while under siege. Shou...

Has the issue of besieged unblockaded ports not producing supply been addressed? I was curious about this one too so I ran a test. No I don't think it's been fixed. I had a single unit besiege Croton in the Spartacus scenario (garrison uses 3/t with a lvl 2 harbor for 4/t..balance +1) and it ran de...

or if it is some balancing-issue I wouldn't worry about for now, there's some bugs in battle resolution/reporting. I think things will change in upcoming versions. This version is kind of fun because you can get crazy victories/losses that alter your whole game and strategy..Makes every turn a gamb...

One thing I noticed in the illustration is that the attacking general is a 2 offense against a 4 defense general. Generals are the most important asset in the stack and it looks like you attacked a general that is twice as good a defender as your general was an attacker. Generals and their attribute...

If a legion loses an element (cohort) completely can it be replaced? If so what conditions are required for that to happen? Yes. The manual says that with historical attrition ON, you only get them if you park the unit at a depot. I think that even with it OFF, theres a low % if not at a depot. Jus...

That's a good question on depots. I have yet to see the need for them. Perhaps future add ons will make them more important? Firstly, they increase the supply level, which is always a good thing. Secondly, they assure that if you park a unit on a depot for a turn, they will get missing element repl...

Awesomeness on the beginners corners. You should give consideration to bundling them together as a manual suppliment, or something. I've been playing AGE games for some time now, and I never really understood the mechanics as well as I do now thanks to them.

The Messana strait appears to be able to be crossed by land troops. Select a land unit on either side, and hold the shift button. This tell you were you troops can go, and what they will have to do to get there. Any brown colored line means direct land connection. Thus a force can move from Messana...

Ok, got it! So a fleet in the adjacent costal region won't give/share supplies, and the manual was off. Good to know! Does the costal region give supplies to the fleet? Or was that from an earlier manual version as well? In my small experience with fleets so far, it seems like you have to dock them.

no, the purpose of elements pursued and destroyed after a battle is WAD (as far i know), it is partially preventing dozens of small stacks laying siege on cities etc err, what I was saying was: when you rout your opponent and the battle result says 'you lost' many people will think there is a bug i...

One thing I can add is that, and I do get it about the calculations etc, but when the game tells you you lost or stalemated a battle that you routed your opponent and in some cases wiped them out during the pursuit looks like a bug, or something amiss. It's going to stand out to alot of players, as ...

never use the icon for the whole army-stack to create a depot. detach the supply wagons in different single stacks and click on each [until they close this loophole])

Yes, you can build some mega-depots very quickly doing that! Really helpful for the Spartacus side of that scenario.

Is there any technique for refilling the supply wagons in a single turn by sending them out through a depot or friendly town and back to the desired stack again? It'd be nice to be able to refill 'on the march' supplies in a single month on a round trip move. Also, you can build level 1 depot's with...

Stalemate battle result

In version 1.0 the result of every battle I've resolved so far has been a draw. Is this a bug, or working as intended?
