After reading the extended manual, I was wondering if there is anything(other than bribery) that one could do to make it easier to recruit Equites. So, is it correct to say that the more Equites a faction has, the better the chances of its candidates being elected to the major posts in the game(Consul, Praetor and Censor)?

Also, does a high Plebis value increase a faction's chances of getting multiple Tribunes?
