The art for when the militia infantry upgrades in the "state militia brigades" is missing. The CMN infantry, as opposed to regular CSA infantry.

Can you repair clipper ships and merchant sail ships? I have "transport" repair chits but they don't seem to ever repair in a harbour.

Do I need a naval base? Or are the early merchant ships not repairable?

Thanks, I will try it :) Is this the same as selecting "fullscreen" on Agesettings ?? No, there are two different lines in vpn/settings/display: 1 is "fullscreen = 0" (or 1) 2 is "D3D9FullScreen = 0" (change to 1) I assume the first is the toggle in Agesettings; while the second is an undocumented ...

I changed a line in VGN/Settings/display from 0 to 1: D3D9FullScreen = 1 This uses some different Directx functions. On topic: I need a way to group similar bui...

You just wait enough time, 6-8 turns maybe, and your warscore will rise if you occupy their country/capital. The problem is, even when you reach the proper WS, have a claim, and the peacy treaty reads "cede province", it just doesn't happen. Instead: 1. Peace occurs 2. The province is returned 3. Yo...

There were a few notable, albeit desperate attempts. But the horses had trouble holding the cannon balls with their hooves. :D From Wiki: "In the early 18th century the Russian army began equipping cavalry formations with small units of light horse artillery equipped with 2-pound cannons, and portab...

I don't know if this was intended but cape Hataras is not listed as a coastal provence, even though it looks like it is supposed to be in the 1775 whites of their eyes scenerio.

Just a tip in case you are having the problems I did. I was getting winter texture not available, after battle crashes, and other random crashes at first. At times my game would lock up and the old save would refuse to reload. I have a geforce 470 video card on Win7. I lowered the resolution from 19...

At one time in ACW, captured units very slowly recovered. Then this stopped. Maybe this effect can be restored? An alternative would be to get wsu, or replacements if you broke the unit down. AT LEAST, remove the victory point penalty for dissolving such units. But don't take capturing away, it give...

Attached the save game file in .rar format. I changed the script file back to the original code in a new game and the loyalty went backwards again. This is the only thing I changed in the files, I promise ;)

Royal Pardon in 1.03c glitch

In the 'optionsdip' file in the 'WIA/events' folder, there are negative signs on the loyalty modifiers for the "Royal Pardon" event. Yes, I am having the same problem. It seems like there is no difference between "permanent" and "one turn" sentry. Perhaps both buttons are addressing the same function by mistake.

This has been since the new sentry commands have been put in 1.11b on up.

edit- Oops, already fixed! Thanks.

"1st Mississippi" is spelled "1st Mississipi" on the mitilia that starts in Jackson in the 1861 April Scenerio.

Though perhaps a lot of people in that brigade spelled it like that anyway.

Shorter turns also allow realistic movement rates, without armies seeming to race without warning accross a continent when you push end turn. Otherwise it can be like watching a train-wreck in slow motion and being unable to stop it.

So +2 VON, taking away your -1.

Don't know if this has been noticed yet in 1775 F&IW: 1. Companie d'Irelandais is doubled (yeah Ireland!) when it appears in Quebec. 2. British merchants are locked in the sea zones and therefore tend to attrition away. 3. the british (capture?) and use blank portrait tribes called 'Ostenaco [capt.]...
