I'm pondering getting RoP - I already own the other AGEOD games with this engine. I've been following the forums and wonder whether the new patch has sorted out the problems that the AI seemed to be having mounting a cohesive attack with a large army. Can anyone let me know please.

Absolutely - in ACW and BOA I sometimes spend longer looking for the location of strategic cities than I do planning my turns!!!!!

Although I'm not criticising AGEOD for my poor geography

I own NCP and ACW and whilst I feel that BOA2 is certainly easier regarding army composition, it is far more critical that you take care of your troops. In the other 2 games you can get away with the odd defeat in battle but in the wide open spaces of BOA2 you need to make sure that you are in a goo...

Just press F5 for a list of victory conditions. It will list the strategic cities for you

That's cleared it up for me too. I couldn't understand why I was getting a stalemate rather than a victory either!!!!

Yes, next patch will do... you can play a trick. Start one turn before it happens, and before that go into the event file for the scenario and remove the event regarding Saxony changing sides...this is the one making the trouble :king: Ok...... sorry to sound a bit stupid but how do I go back a tur...

Ahhhh! Thanks for the quick answer. When you say fixed, do you mean in the next patch. Is there any point me going back a turn (if I can work out how to do that) or will the same thing happen again??

I'm playing the Prussian campaign with the latest patch. All was going well, slowly grinding the Prussians down, unitl turn 13(!!!!!). All my units have disappeared - has anybody else had a similar problem??? I've tried to attach the turn file can't seem to do it

The most obvious difference is the lack of a grand campaign in NCP but I find the fact that there are so many different scenarios available that there is a much better variety of gameplay (and the Spanish Campaign is over 200 turns long so if you want a looooooong game there's one there).
