Stauffenberg - re: coastal arty at Chattanooga. Note that the Tennessee River is impassable at Muscle Shoals Alabama (which is historically accurate), so Union fleets cannot reach Chattanooga.

March to the guns - translation

Sedgwick provided this advice on Marching to The Sound of the Guns: By the way, regarding MTSG, I found these threads extremely enlightening: http://www.ageod-forum.com/showthread.php?t=17389 http://www.ageod-forum.com/showthread.php?t=9478 This may be somewhat helpful, but je doesn't parle francais...

I just conceded to Sedgwick after losing both Thomas and Keyes Corps. Their loss along with the mistakes I've made render the game untenable and unrecoverable. Sedgwick is close to winning on NM, can take any city west of the Appalachians, and with his available forces can probably defeat the Army o...

Ol' Choctaw - let's explore the security question. Sedgwick and I agreed not to view each other's AARs until after the game. Sedgwick has also posted a thread asking me not to read. Longshanks - thanks - I'm enjoying the game. About morale: I do get pissed IRL about some of the gameplay, like how can Lee escape and my guys not escape? Even if I lose a battle, if my preparation and movement was 'correct' or 'good' then it feels better. However, it's just a game (albeit one that ...
