Never thought of that - good point :-) Can we do multiple installs with the same serial code for this purpose? Garrett I have two computers and have tried the game on a LAN. I haven't tried lately, with the latest patches, but early on-- after a patch or two-- the game froze up quite a bit. I alway...

The game was released a month ago. What are the remaining bugs? Some affecting the rules enforcment, like in any games. Some improvments for rules are certainly necessary, like in any other games. AI needs some tweaks, like in any other games. A complete manual is expected but by collecting all tip...

You are probably right, but I'm sure Snag-It has options that Paint does not have.

For screen capturing, I use Snag-It. It's not a free program, but it is well worth the money. Snag-It works with every program I've tried. And it does work with WWI, though you lose the mouse pointer when doing the capture and save, more proof that WWI just about hijacks the system when running. Her...

Basically people are going to review what they saw in the game. Not what it will or might become. And what they saw was a buggy beta release. No doubt about that. The game is buggy, sluggish, and arcane in the absence of a comprehensive manual. To expect anything else from reviewers than the honest...

Try turning anisotropic "off" instead of having it on application controlled.

Nice compilation. But can we have an interpreter? Some of this stuff, written by folks whose native language is not English, is very confusing. To wit: "39. How do wounded units get to heal? Below each unit there are two little white buttons. The one to the left sends it to the HQ reserves, the one ...

In the confuguration dialog, what is the "Disable vertical synch" for-what does it do? I'm wondering if I need it. Vertical synch is used to keep your video frames the same as your monitor refresh. So if your monitor refresh is at 60hz, your frames inside the game will not go over 60, which...

Be careful, there are programs who search actively for vulnerable computers by checking more or less randomly chosen IP addresses. No need to visit a website. http://www.smileygarden.de/smilie/Computer/24.gif Virtually all ADSL modems come with a build-in firewall however (cable modems surely too),...

Howdy,

Say, if you use Photobucket you can't append images directly to your AAR, making them appear in your post. It's easy to do and is free.

Look here: http://photobucket.com/

Sign up and you're ready to go. Upload your image, copy-paste, and you're done.

I think it defaults to that, but you can override by running the AACW-settings-program (found either in your startmenu or in the main AACW-directory) I don't think the guy was talking about stacks on the main map.
