You have a lot of good ideas to help the players. As documentation was a real weakness of Ageod's games, you really add value to NCP (and soon for other games) by writing all your manuals, guides and other related stuff.
Yes, thank you... I remember having read something about this principle.
I must search into the forum to get the answer, surely Pocus has already detailed the process.
I hope these details will appear soon in the future manual (Hey, Laurence what do you think about it ? )
Units experience is used to have a better result during fights and an increased maximum cohesion level (see AACW manual). But a good(?) question is : How is Leaders experience taken into account ? The AACW manual just says that it affects the leader's other attributes. Tip : The NCP manual (v6.0) do...
LeTOndu, Just replace 'batallion' :8o: by 'regiment' ;) , it will be OK. You're talking only about infantry regiments in a division, keep in mind you have to add the artillery and sometimes (rarely) other cavalry or support units. As far as the problem of the size of a force is concerned, it seems t...
I think you just have to clik on the city to display the units panel showing the forces contained in the harbor or the city. The small blue "box" attached with the town contains the number of fleets in the harbor. The same principle acts for ground forces in cities : another small brown "box" is att...
Can I ask for a short explanation concerning how frontage is calculated ? I must say that I had asked for the 'terrain db' file but I haven't been able to understand how are used the data  . At first glance, I feel like lacking basic information on how much units or elements can be deployed on...
Question pour amuse...
Beginning with "short" campaigns first in order to discover the game progressively, with preference to earlier ones befores latest ones to respect time evolution. So 1805 Austerlitz is the natural first campaign. And for fun, try to debark the French Army on the British coasts in the Trafalgar scena...
1. Only depots and towns of 3+ will push supply outward (up to a max of 5 regions per supply phase). Will forts also push supply out? (I assume not) 2. Towns of level 2 and below will not push supply to any other region, they can't even provide supply for units in adjacent regions? 3. Supply wagons...
I'd say that I voted for the first option (militia can destroy a depot) but this is a player point of view. As far as historical / simulation purpose is concerned, I admit that I'm not the right person to answer the question. So, to conclude, I say : Beware of polls because they aren't given to the ...
As lot of people here have always said : I'm playing alone versus the AI to master the game (because it's quite complex and there are a lot of things to manage ; lack of medium scenarii ? :siffle: ). As soon as I get used with the mechanisms (it's a long road because I don't play as much as I would,...
You're completely right. Those info are very important and must appear clearly in the game. I would add that these info would also have to be present in the financial/levey(?) /political/... and other related windows of the great book with the exact date of the opposite decision and the delay the en...
... in our games ! But the hungrian game is not as serious as it would be (his title is not made for historic gamers :fleb: : Napoleon as an Emperor only existed since 1804; before it was the "general Bonaparte") and suffers from an horrible look ! Ageod is far more seducing concerning ergonomy :sou...
