ACW looking for USA Opponent

Looking to play the grand campaign, with or without KY, doesn't matter. I've played a few ACW PBEM ganes, but it has been about a year or so since I delved into ACW so may be a little rusty. House rules or whatever is fine with me too, whatever makes a good balance; I'm not picky. I can do a turn a ...

Sorry, about that. The above file was "backup 9". This file is "backup 8" and the current turn before I process it.

Units Not Destroying Railroads

Strange problem I'm running into on ACW 1.16 4a with quick-fix 1 & 2. My CSA units are not destroying RR as they should. In the turn included in this save file, my cavalry unit in Missouri (near St. Louis) did not destroy rail. My cavalry unit in Kentucky did not destroy rail either. On the other ha...

Looking for USA Opponent

I can do about 1 turn a day on the average. Looking for a USA opponent. Usually play vanilla options, but can set some house rules up if wanted. Either way is fine with me. Full '61 campaign with or without Kentucky. You can host or I can, really have no preference.

Turn Processing Incorrectly

Below, trying to figure out what happened with the turn. Email my PBEM opponent sent me. Let me know if I need to include any saves before this one to help pin point the problem. Thanks! My turn did not process right. McDowell and the army were suppose to move to Manassas. Milroy was suppose to move...

AACW looking for USA opponent

Edit: Game Started; will post again when current campaign is completed. I can do about 1 turn a day on the average. Looking for a USA opponent. Usually play vanilla options, but can set some house rules up before play if needed. Either way is fine with me. PM if anyone wants to start a PBEM. You can...

Looks like that is it. Talked to Arth and his computer hard drive decided to die on itself. I'm about to go to Iraq again, but depending on how work is over there I'll see about going another round with Arth. Should be able to if I get on one of the larger installations with internet in the rooms.

To be continued in Late December. I'm moving from Washington to Florida tomorrow, so the drive will be long. Completed my final out from the Army last week, so now time to take 3 months of vacation time I've got saved up.

Turn 53 Continued Apparently J.J. just engaged and captured a lonely artillery unit. Not fighting between the main forces that round. Turn 53 Early June 1863 Meade, seems to be in Blakely, but his force is very small. I'll send Hood's division to deal with him. The rest of my forces will stay put. Turn 52 Continued Good thing my ironclads did not get trapped there. Yes, time for Bragg to get back across that river. His position is getting to weak. Turn 52 Late May 1863 I am just keeping the pressure up here. Its going to be a battle of attrition and I think that I can win in this area. I now have local superiority of sea power here too. I'm feeling hopeful Matagorda will fall within the next 3 turns. River boats are still stuck. 1372...

Turn 51 Continued I expect to see even more CSA naval victories with the size of my fleet now. An unintended side effect of not having manpower was to build a large fleet, which should be very effective as long as he does not have a good port to refit his fleets at. Turn 51 Early May 1863 Once again lots of action here on this front. Stewart, Forrest, and Stuarts divisions will all move on Lexington, KY. I should be able to overwhelm his attacking force there. Turn 47 Early March 1863 Yes, I do like the fact that he is taking complete losses, as in whole units destroyed. I'm taking very few in that regards. wow. I just read the reports at the bottom of the screenshots and it looks like you have made 38 000 prisonners in western Kentucky in this campaign, with 36 000 of those in Paducah. This is a major disaster for your opponent, you just basically did to him the equivalent of capturing Fort Donelson ...
